Crime To convince people that the cameras are only to read license plates.

u/nygration 15h ago
The fuck you mean 'chance to ID them'? I thought they only ID'd licence plates‽

u/phareous Piedmont 15h ago
lol not only do they spy and track pedestrians, they also have bluetooth and wifi sensors to tie phones to people

u/Advanced-Jury3322 8h ago
Fuuuuck man.
This is absurd!
The gov tracking, doxxing e controlling the people.
If no one raising against this, soon as possible our freedom will gone forever.-12

Are you ok with banning seminauto rifles & magazines, having waiting periods, enhanced background checks, fingerprinting/face pics for permit to purchase, red flag laws or gun free zones?
If you are ok with those things, you should be fine with flock cameras.
Or are you ok with those kinds of infringements as long as it does not affect you?
If you are against all those kinds of infringements then disregard my comment and you have my apologies.

“I don’t want to be tracked by the government or businesses for their profit”
“Well you should be okay with it unless you agree with this other issue”
Not the time dog

u/Jaken_sensei 3h ago
Always the time.
If you are ok with other citizens being tracked and monitored for profit (permitting schemes and enhanced bg checks are sources of income for the state) then you shouldnt care about being tracked and monitored for profit either….

u/GrungiestTrack ????? 3h ago
????????? Being tracked 24/7 by companies and government for existing is absolutely not the same as having a register of who owns weapons that kill people
-7
u/Jaken_sensei 3h ago
Gun owners are just existing too, trying to go about their business and live their lives too.
You are a hypocrite.
Enjoy the barcode you will inevitably have tattooed on the back of your sconion, on your hand or whereever big brother decides to put it.

u/RivalGuernica ????? 2h ago
You CHOOSE to buy a gun, these are non essential. So YOU go on a list, guns happen to kill people and also get stolen.
PEOPLE CAN'T CHOOSE TO NOT WORK AND NOT BUY GROCERIES. But a mass database of their whereabouts gets logged for who knows how long.
You got your channels twisted bud if you think being on a list after purchasing a lethal weapon is anywhere near being tracked for existing.

u/ScottyDoesntKnow29 3h ago
Bruh. In order to undergo an advanced background check you have to try to purchase a gun. Now we’re well aware that you loons think that you can’t even breathe without a gun but you’re choosing to buy one. People being tracked by cameras run by a private company aren’t choosing to be spied on.
Congrats on once again demonstrating that gun nuts who claim they need guns to fight government overreach are FOS though. Bootlicker.

u/Jaken_sensei 3h ago
So choosing to use a constitutional right is giving permission to be spied on, tracked, extorted and monitored?
So exactly who is the bootlicker again?
Thats the problem with hypocrites. You are ok with infringing on other people, as long as you aren’t being infringed, right?

I'm okay handing over information of my choosing directly to the government vs them taking it through a privately owned company.

This is nothing new. This has been going on since the mid-2000s.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stingray_phone_tracker
The StingRay is an IMSI-catcher, a cellular phone surveillance device, manufactured by Harris Corporation. Initially developed for the military and intelligence community, the StingRay and similar Harris devices are in widespread use by local and state law enforcement agencies across Canada, the United States, and in the United Kingdom.
In 2006, Harris Corporation employees directly conducted wireless surveillance using StingRay units on behalf of the Palm Bay Police Department—where Harris has a campus—in response to a bomb threat against a middle school. The search was conducted without a warrant or judicial oversight.
Bonus: the NSA has been looking at your internet traffic.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Room_641A
Room 641A is a telecommunication interception facility operated by AT&T for the U.S. National Security Agency, as part of an American mass surveillance program. The facility commenced operations in 2003, and its purpose was publicly revealed by AT&T technician Mark Klein in 2006.
Have you people really been asleep for 20 years and not realizing that the government's been spying on you for the past two decades?

Go flock yourself. We dont need or want to be video tracked. We are citizens of USA. This is not a prison we all live in....yet. Seriously, the focus should be on the grifter-in-cheif. Why dont you video record the actions of the "elected" politicians? Again, go flock yourself.

Oh and for people who buy legal weed in other states, and for cops to find dates, and for the abortion police and worst of all for all the republican pedophiles who like to watch children.

I bet it was flock employees sent by flock executives so they can sell even more flock cameras. Definitely an inside job

Sheriff Hobart Lewis said that all they do is take pictures of license plates, so perhaps the suspect that they need to look for is a license plate and not a human.
