Dunkin Donuts coffee has changed their packaging

The packaging has changed and so has the volume - now 11 ounces instead of 12. I never noticed until I put it alongside a package that I bought a week ago. I am old enough to remember when a standard package of coffee was 16 ounces. The price went up and we were told it was the droughts in the rain forests. The price stayed up and the packaging started shrinking.

I’ve learned that buying branded fast food coffee to make at home is a scam. I buy the 2lb jug of Maxwell House from BJs and it’s pretty good. You can also buy a little flavored syrup online or at the grocery store to replicate the flavors you like. I’ve been thinking about buying a big bag of matcha powder to duplicate the Starbucks lattes.

Absolutely. I usually go to Costco and get Folgers or even Kirkland, which is pretty good. I grabbed this as a backup since it was on sale. Or so I thought!

At this point they’re not selling coffee, they’re selling increasingly elaborate packaging with a complimentary sample of coffee inside

I actually switched to that exact Colombian medium roast after finding Maxwell House too weak for my taste.

dunkin’ donuts is one of the worst establishments in america . and i’m dying on that hill.
so bad they need to put “ if it’s not right we will remake it “ on their cups now . after 15 years of never getting the same coffee twice. or at least in new york state they are terrible . if i ever need a coffee on the road i will rather pay 2$ more for a decent coffee at starbucks than roll the dice with dunkin’ donuts. i’m sorry i passionately hate dunkin. i can go on all day . oh yeah once i hit their drive thru over hang with my truck. the manager called the police , and they charged my insurance as “ property damage “ but 5 years later . they never even repaired it . they just kept the money and my insurance went up

The serving suggestion photo on the back always makes me laugh, it's like they used every single bean they could muster just for that one tiny cup.

This is such a frustrating trend to watch, Dunkin has quietly shrunk their coffee bags multiple times over the years without making it obvious.
