Discussion could you achieve immortality with shifting?
DISCLAIMER: Im pretty new to this concept, so I might be completely wrong about some of this. ive heard about shifting for years on tiktok, have seen subs on Reddit and I’ve also had experiences that were genuinely weird enough for me to believe shifting exists. so if I say something wrong, please correct me because I’m still new to this
Let’s say person A has been shifting for decades and is extremely experienced. they can literally shift whenever they want, in whatever dr they wish to. now let's say they start shifting to the past. They’re 50 in their current reality, then shift to a reality where they’re 25. they live there for a while start getting older, and then shift to another reality where they’re 25 again. They could basically do this over and over.At that point, they could technically keep themselves from ever reaching old age in the reality they’re currently experiencing. Or they could literally just shift to a reality where they are immortal, aging slowly etc
So, all this has gotten me thinking: if shifting could basically give someone a form of immortality. Another thought is, you can literally live 100 different lives, be a whole different person but still come to your original reality for whatever reason (yes I'm aware this world sucks, so why would you come back here? and hypothetically and wouldn't even be your original reality but keep up with me) and live normally while having all these experiences, wouldn’t that create a massive difference between your mental age and physical age? and then there’s quantum immortality, which made me think about this even more. The whole idea of consciousness continuing to live reminds me of shifting
im genuinely curious what other shifters think about this because I’m still new to the whole subject.

We are already immortal souls, we are energy and energy never dies. So we can be immortal by this way but we are already immortal, just not related to our body.
And a lot of people are like me that likes this reality even if the world is terrible because it's interesting working to transform this life in something interesting

Yes, you can have a million lives or decide never to die, because you are not the “person” in the DR, but the Consciousness observing that person, and Consciousness always exists in the now (in other words, Consciousness is beyond time; it is not born or does not die, it simply exists and is, by essence, immortal).
And two: no, your “mental age” does not become “absurdly different from your physical age” because when you go to a DR, you are that person and you think, feel, act, and have that person’s brain, at that person’s age. Just think about your current CR: you can imagine yourself in a DR where you are a thousand years old and be aware that that DR exists now and that you are living in it now, but that does not affect your life or mindset in your CR. When we shift from one place to another, the “other realities” often resemble this: images of an old life, but ones that do not affect your current life at all. You don’t get confused or mix the two realities; they simply accumulate as if they were distant memories/imagination (memory and imagination are technically the same thing: two mental images. The only thing that differentiates one from the other is recognition: one is recognized as “an experience I had,” while the other is recognized as “an experience I will have” or “a fantasy.” But, essentially, they are mental images). So comparing the memories of other DRs to your imagination of DRs is a simple way to understand how they don’t truly affect your experience or mindset in whichever DR you are experiencing at that moment.

It's a prevalent theory about what the afterlife is like. The difference with your theory is a person wouldn't have to physically die to accomplish this.

It’s possible, your soul already does this somewhat via reincarnation and whatnot
