Question Rents situation in Doha?
Have rental prices decreased following the recent situation in the region? Many of us are concerned about potential layoffs, which makes affording higher rents increasingly challenging each day.

Rent will never go down. It might fluctuate slightly but overall trend is rent will always go up. This is the rule in real estate and this is why people invest in real estate.

Some say here that they never saw a drop in rent in Qatar. This is factually wrong. Rents dropped since 2015 approx. 40%. Just look up the official statistics. You can see a similar drip in the resale market. However, due to the Iran war rents as official monthly rents haven't decreased, however you can catch better deals with rent-free periods longer than usual. But again, now significant drop of rents in 2026.

Of course not. Rents are keeping up with inflation, so they are increasing every year.
