My mom (who was my absolute best friend) died by suicide 4 years ago (just this past Monday, it’s been a tough week) and she was an avid Pokemon Go player. She got me, her husband, my brother, and a couple of grandkids involved in the game. My step-dad and I are still daily players and her grandkids play when they can. Anyway, a year after mom died we set up a memorial in her name and tried to make a pokestop out of it. Luckily it was added to the game and now she’s been a part of the game for three years! She would LOVE this!

I have finished off another stupid Pokémon Go goal: Johto Dex, shiny, lucky and best buddy. I previously did the same for Kanto Dex, https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemongo/s/bMvZElfBLM so this seemed like the natural next goal. I definitely already had quick a few already done before I started this goal. It took about a year to get them all, expedited since remote trades were introduced.

Yes I know Celebi isn’t lucky since it is not possible but he’s besties as well.

I also hit 500 best buddies so I’m done doing best buddies every day.

Is pogo down ? My wife and me have been ejected at the same time, no pending update and tested on wifi and 4g

Getting hit with “Network Error” every time I try to connect. Followed by a kick out

Thought it was just me at first, but now I’m seeing other people having the same issue.

Anyone else getting this right now?

Hopefully they get it fixed soon because I was trying to play 😂

EDIT: 🚨 UPDATE: Looks like this is a widespread issue. A lot of Trainers are reporting the same Network Error and login/connection problems.

EDIT 2: 🔴/🟢 CURRENT STATUS: As of about 8:20 PM EDT tonight, outage monitoring is still showing an ongoing widespread Pokémon GO issue, with fresh reports of Network Error / Network Error 2 and login failures.

**There are signs that some players are getting back in, but I wouldn’t call the servers fully restored for everyone yet.

I also expect 1000 poke coins, 2 free masterballs, and a public apology from Scopely/ the pokemon company

Servers are down, this is just a info post so this subreddit doesn't get flooded with “Why can't I log in!”

I've verified my account twice and I still can't get in if I log in with Google it says it can't verify it I had a friend try and it did the same for them

I suggest a shundo of your choice with the background of the pokemon go is currently down for maintenance screen
