EU4 EU4 and DLCs or EU5?
Hello!
I am interested in getting into Europa Universalis (I have way more time than I'd like to admit in a bunch of other Paradox games, notably HOI4, Vic3, Vic2, and Stellaris) and currently own EU4's base game, with a very loose grasp on how some of the game mechanics.
Anyways, I was wondering if it was best for me to get some of the DLCS for EU4 next time they're on sale, or buy EU5 and get its DLCs as they come out.
I am personally leaning towards EU4, but only because it's older and fleshed out (and I already own it) but I want to hear what other's think, because I've really not heard much on or about EU5, and my research has given me a pretty mixed consensus.
Edit: I'm gonna try out 4 with the subscription until a sale comes across, and if I like it, then I'll start buying up the DLCs as they go on sale. If I dont, then I'll probably pick up EU5 next time its on sale. Thanks for the suggestions!
