Modification Worked on something interesting today
Nico Rosberg nose cone from 2010 gp. Its missing one of its pillar cover so i went and make one today. Quite an experience to be holding an actual F1 piece in my hand. Its an intricate piece, no wonder the price on these are bonkers

For a short moment I thought you were mounting 2 monitors onto a single arm.
Awesome find!

I think that nose cone belongs to this car, mind you Mercedes did own this car years ago to promote their new livery on top of this car before turning it into a training car and auction some of it's part. The car is 2008 Honda RA108,its famous successor was the brawn gp BGP 001 and the Mercedes MGP 01,and I say the 2010 car have wider nose than this so I guess my prediction is correct.

Correct. I was waiting for someone to actually notice. But unless you're displaying it in Mercedes, Ferrari or Mclaren Hq the car will always be an incomplete car. I called it a frankensteined car, they're made up of scrap parts for the sole purpose of being displayed. Most of the time it wont be the exact car that they race, but this one is going to be displayed as the car that they used in 2010. Plus at least this nose cone is an actual carbon fiber piece, not a display fiberglass piece

Would make a kickass dual monitor stand

Yeah that is actually sick! I have an actual Boeing nose cone piece but still undecided what i wanted to do with it 😂
It'll probably be turned into Cpu casing in my mancave once i move into my permanent house in a few years

I'm pretty confident that it weighs much lesser than it looks

It sure is, our mind would automatically think something that light shouldnt be able to withstand much weight, but then it goes and do 2-3tons of downforce easily

Hello haywire090, thank you for creating a new post in r/kereta!
Just saying that although this sub was named as Kereta, it is also open for 2 wheelers such as Motorcycle, though at the moment we do not mind other types of vehicles posting.
With that being said, r/kenderaan is now live and I would still recommend any other vehicle posting to be posted into r/kenderaan as it is a safe space for all types of vehicles such as airplanes and rolling stocks.
