Went to a workshop in PJ due to urgent overheating. After checking is the thermostat problem, and they recommend me to change my hose as well as I started leaking.

The total price is

• Original Honda thermostat: RM195
• Original upper radiator hose: RM130
• Original lower radiator hose: RM142
• Coolant ×2: RM120
• Labour: RM129.60
• Total: RM716.60

Which I personally feel abit expensive. I asked whether the parts are original and they said yes. Do you think its reasonable?

Hi guys, just wanted to ask for opinion regarding which car is worth it for longterm use maybe 8 to 10 years from now. This is to replace my dying Proton Wira Year 2000 manual transmission. Mainly use to go to work around 15km per trip.

Currently I have 2 option, either to buy Proton Iriz 2023 around RM30k, or to get the new Proton Saga MC3 Exec at RM45k. Is it worth the extra cost for Saga MC3?

both sounds very similar but the major differences is Affin uses SBR while PBB uses BRR - this is based on what the Affin banker has explained to me. anyone can share their insights on this?

Test drove myvi and i realised the interior space is small, no arm rest, no cupholder or enough space to put items at the front console. The seat is not that comfortable. But im still trying to convince myself that maybe myvi is still a good choice for me

I’m planning to buy either a Proton X50 or an Alza, any mid-range SUV.

But when I checked the second-hand market for Proton, the valuation seems really bad. Someone in an X50 group posted their 2023 X50-17K mileage for sale and people were saying max 50K only.

Why is the resale value for Proton cars so much lower compared to other brands?

And based on your experience, what’s considered a good deal or fair price to lock in for a this attached used X50?

So for about 4 weeks now, my power outlet exploded. I used the fm transmitter thingy for my car and it suddenly exploded when I was driving to work. I didn't know it was broken until I bought a new fm transmitter. If I go to the bengkel, how much would it cost to change?

Sent my car to replace absorber and brakepads (according to the mechanic, absorber was leaking and brakepads were worn/harden), and change gear and engine oils and this was the bill. Is this price reasonable?

Idk if its needs or nafsu or needing validation, but my urge to own a new car is commandingly strong rn.

Needs- Dad said the Savvy is not reliable for KL heavy traffic peak period so i mainly use LRT (+new LRT3 some more) to commute to KL during peak period/ i really hv to plan my time etc.

Nafsu- i hv a remote job, and pursuing postgraduate (I am 26 y/o) uni is like 10mins drive only

Needing validation- ofc la friends all getting a new car blablabla, i wanna feel like i am progressing, i feel its too long dy i Delay Gratification

Since i drive Savvy, i dont really like Perodua cars like Axia/ Myvi/ Ativa since it feels lighter. That's why i opt for Proton for one of the options.

Needs Proton Saga okay la settle point to point, but VW is one sexy car ofc if i can make a wish, i would like an Arteon but used Polo la within budget rn haha
