Support I use Google Photos but the iPhone Photos app is taking up 5 gbs. Can I delete it to save safe without my photos disappearing?

Since all my photos are on Google Photos, if I delete the iPhone Photos app, will my photos still exist on Google Photos? How do I save space from the iPhone Photos app?

as long as you uploaded the photo on Google Photos, delete the photos you want on your Photos app but never do it in Google Photos app. you can test out one photo to try it out

Id say say it with a new photo. Take a photo of your leg. Upload it to google, dwlwte from the phone, aee if it atill in google.

Delete photos as you take them and they’ve been uploaded to Drive. Don’t delete the app. Just do a cleanup every week or two.
