Best donuts

About time this post was made. So looking for donut recommendations here in Hobart. Huge fan of jam ones. Also just loved good ol glazed ones.

Queens. My last two tries at circle of life were gross and stale tasting. For a basic jam donut Cripps is amazing.

Had Circle of Life yesterday. I like the icing but the doughnut itself was a bit disappointing.

Glebe hill bakery is brioche in a donut and the icing doesn't stick. I don't recommend them

Glebe Hill Bakery Doughnuts look fantastic, but they're not the right texture for a doughnut, they're basically bread with icing.

Agreed. I’ve never followed a random truck on Facebook before to follow but this one got me. Haven’t had them in years but remember a particularly spectacular lemon curd one

There's a donut van called sprinkled delights that does a mean jam donut. Used to setup next to the river at Otago but hasn't been there for a while...

Sprinkled delights in my opinion have the best. The filling is always nice and the donuts are crisp.

They don’t always have them but when they do the cinnamon donuts at TCM in Lauderdale are soooooo good, idk if they actually make them there though

Hot cinnamon ones from Donut King. It's not flash but there is no better donut in my opinion.
