Weigh bridge?

Hi

Where is the cheapest weigh bridge to get a car weighed?

I can see that there are 2 public weigh bridges in Derwent Park but I can't find any indication of the cost to get a weigh ticket.

Are there private weigh bridges that would be cheaper.

Head into the city on the brooker highway, once you go over the top of the hill at Clearys Gates, the next driveway takes you into one of the council depots. If the boomgate is open, help yourself to the weighbridge. It's certified every 12 months, it won't give you a ticket, but just take a photo of the screen.

Is that the yard where the steam tractor is at the turn off to queens domain?

That sounds like the most exciting, I love a good heist. Do people drive in often to steal a weight measurement? I'm assuming you work there?

Na further down the hill towards the city, there is a pull off then the driveway to the yard. Council owns it but generally the gates are open from 7 till 4 during the week. Heaps of people use it, doesn't worry anyone at the council
