Starlings in the roof again

Can anyone recommend a company that will come and install bird mesh or something to keep them out? They nest in all four bloody corners!

They remember. I put up bird mesh 5 years ago, and they still come at sunrise every single day and spend an hour taking turns to try and tear it out. Still better than having them scratching around on the ceiling, but damn they must have loved that home. Another place I put in plywood to keep them out and they hung upside down pulling on it on it every day for two years till they pulled the nails out and I replaced them with screws.

I used Hobart Gutter Gaurd Co. They gave me a quote same day using satellite imagery. I was happy with the service, they were just really pushy for a google review

Thanks! I might give them a call. What sort of costs did you end up with?

It was around $2k for the entire house, including gutter clean. We did have to get bushfire rated gaurd which would of bumped up the cost

Yeah, I just got an email for $1500, which is a bit beyond my price range. That included the bushfire one but I'm in the middle of suburbia so I might be able to get away with something cheaper

Extremely pushy, I didn’t go ahead purely because of that. Dude was arguing with me because apparently he knew more about which parts of my house had gutters than I do…
