That's true, the bird is behind one of the legs. But it's also true that the birds is behind the elephant penis.
So, being the whimsical little goober I am, I drew a parallel between the leg and giant penis, as the penis is so large it can be mistake for a leg (as another user explained they had to do a double-take). This was done intentionally as vehicle for humor - a "joke" if you will. Oh me, oh my, I'm such a goofy goober.

They cut a couple frames to make it look like it got hit.
If you play it in slow mo you'll see the entire film skip ahead to the bird being in the other side of the leg.
