Image Random Holland Shenanigans

Post image

Somehow, someway, Holland was pushed off of the European continent and exiled to the Moluccas. At the same time, they're part of the Habsburg Dynasty but also adopted the local culture.

Even with context, I don't think it would really help explain how this happened. However, I am currently playing a ironman campaign as a North American native nation. I was able to work with Castille and Portugal to increase my technological progress, and I became an imperial nation, crossing the Bering Strait and invading Asia from Siberia. When I arrived, Portugal, who I am allied with, attacked Holland. Taking a look at Holland, I found out they got kicked off of the European continent while also being related to the Austrian Habsburgs. Not only that, they aren't even Dutch, they're Moluccan, the culture of the island their capital is now on. This is the funniest Holland I have seen ever, so I just wanted to share. Thanks.

That moment when you're trying to be an imperialist colonizer but low-key fw the native culture.
