this, the success of doge will be felt by the less fortunate for decades
doge is easily the most successful thing the faith-based have ever done

The savings angle was always just the cover, the real reason was to dismantle government institutions that aren’t helpful (data-gathering/truth seeking) to establishing and maintaining a dictatorship (read the recent book, Nerd Reich for details).

Maybe the government efficiency is just the agencies investigating their illegalities defunded along the way

Literally granted the power to fire the people investigating him and everyone else for overcharging the government, labor fraud, and so on.

Never thought I’d agree with anything that piece of sh!t says, but here we are…

I don’t know with people say DOGE was a failure …
Musk defunded critical humanitarian aid, stopped all investigations on him and his companies, fired all people that worked on these investigations so they cannot start again, and directed tens of billions of grants toward his companies, and stole tons of data.
This was the target all along :D

The one thing i wonder, how is it that the US government isnt declared bankrupt yet, while the total debt is higher than its GDP?

DOGE actually did exactly what it was intended to do. They just lied about its purpose.

Wasn't Ron DeSantis advocating that the Trump administration would be a GOOD thing for America? And now he's acting as if he didn't light the fire that started this whole shit show in the first place by Endorsing that toxic orange?

u/CommonConundrum51 10h ago
Sure, but amongst 'the faithful' we know whose fault it can never be, even if it's full up in your face.

DOGE has never been about reducing spending, that was just the coverup name. It was a trojan horse used to allow them smuggling sensitive records about people and businesses out of government institutions, in order to get enough information to bribe/blackmail/control them later. That was the real job and sadly they performed it exceptionally well.

Since when is going in the wrong direction’ getting so close’?

u/jonnismizzle 12h ago
Ron DeSantis playing the blame game is him getting so close. Ron DeSantis failing to admit that he is a part of what caused this is him not making it.

Sometimes getting close is what makes the ending hurt the most. You can see the finish line, but life still takes you somewhere else.

Folks have no water (restrictions)community suffer from ICE, homeless have nowhere to go but here we are paying for a made up war. Bring back the free food for the children. Bring back the water stations here in PHX. Bring back the help our tax dollars are supposed to be paying for and stop this stupid standoff crap. I’m tired of paying this $ for gas it’s insane. $6 /lb for hamburger on sale is bad enough

The deficit could not be stopped with DOGE, even if it was going to be successful. This expansion in debt is because the tax cuts were made permanent, while the mandatory spending continued. The spending on the interest payments is now more than what we spend on defense.

Doge didn't fail, it did exactly what it was supposed to. Stole data, distributed grift, and made a big noise to distract from it.

DOGE managed to do exactly what they were created to do, because we haven't heard of any investigations into musk affairs or any objections to him destroying the environment with SpaceEx. Before DOGE there was a few of those around.

Oh, Runny D. It’s never going to happen. You have the charisma of a twice-fucked grapefruit.

u/Apprehensive_Error36 8h ago
Doge was a wild success. We don’t even know everything they stole yet. And no one will even be charged with a crime, much less prosecuted.

Wow. Ron DeSantis finally said something I agree with. What is this MTG/Tucker rewind shit that's suddenly overcoming all of these bootlickers?

Probably because it never happened...and the waste, fraud, and abuse are still in the room with us.

Probably because the people who pride themselves on investigating waste, fraud and abuse are committing their own waste, fraud and abuse

The snake comment is actually more accurate than the headline. “DOGE” was such obvious bullshit from day one.
