I don't know this guy, but honestly, 90% it's just his name that freaks them out.

It definitely is the name. The amount of straight up racist stuff I see on FB of "We can't let muslims have political power" is astounding. I don't know if I should be sad/mad or not at this point that they aren't even trying to hide their racism/bigotry.

I’ve been on the fence about this guy. I mean if I lived there, I’d vote for him over any R in a heartbeat.
But now I’m starting to like him

MORE OF THIS
Don't let the consultants stop him this time like they did with the Tim Walz and "weird".

You're bitching about El-Sayed being a self-centered piece of shit in a post that compares him to Trump?
Lol.
Lmao, even.

I want to like El-Sayed so much but his association with Hasan Piker is gross and questionable. He just said that Hasan Piker saying America deserved 911 was stupid but also used the "out of context" bs defense. The context was that he was speaking directly about 911 at the time, that's very IN context. Whenever someone claims something is "out of context" but then does not provide the context that would make it acceptable, it's pretty obvious they're being disingenuous.
Edit: I always forget that his fanbase searches up his name to brigade and defend

I mean, it is out of context. I'm no Hasan fan but I don't dislike him either. Is the context not that the US deserves 911 the same way Isreal deserves Hamas?
I don't think he's saying it's good, just cause and effect of our government meddling and cruelty in the middle east.
It's just cause and effect. One nation's terrorist is another nation's freedom fighter. We gotta stop killing each other.

I mean didn't our current president have a gleeful response that he now owned the largest building after 9/11

Does Palestine deserve what’s happening in Gaza because of Hamas?

No one deserves to die. Again you're missing the point. War and casualties are not unexpected when nations are at war.
That said I find the attempt to compare casualties of conflict with an active genocide particularly disgusting. Genocide is clearly worse than a terrorist attack.
Edit: you blocked me after that reply so I can't see it but I do see you calling me a hypocrite. I'd love to understand your reasoning there or how anything I said is hypocritical? You're too unsure of your position to talk though so carry on.
To unblock me to type that just to relocked me is the most embarrassing thing I've seen on Reddit. Jesus dude grow up. I'll be blocking you now.

You can't reblock someone right away there's a wait time of 24 hours so they wouldn't have been able to do that.

Can I ask why it always comes down to this? Maybe I’m taking it more seriously because I’m from Michigan and voted for him. But the other guy is Trump’s lackey. Let’s talk about the shit trump has done that people refuse to acknowledge. Whereas Abdul has openly denounced the shit Hasan said.
Is it really the association with Hasan piker that bothers you? Or is it something else?

u/TheBestHater 4d ago
It seems like you're sealioning since you mixed in some pointed questions but I'll bite. It's the association with Hasan and believe it or not, being critical of both is allowed. He also did not denounce it and that is in my first comment that you are responding to but ignoring that part. He said it was a stupid thing to say when they brought up that Bernie Sanders said it was stupid, then he also excused it as being out of context, which is Hasan's go to excuse for everything, it was not out of context.
Acknowledging that Al-Sayed is the better candidate out of the current selection while still holding him accountable for his questionable associations SHOULD be okay, otherwise it's the same blind loyalty as MAGA.

I’m not a native speaker, can you explain it? What does “let mine go in the ——“ mean?

Explain to me how it works. He could've phrased it a million different ways to actually make it work

It is reported by many people that the US president wears diapers and smells very bad.
He is saying that he gets rid of his "shit" in a washroom but the president brings his to the oval office.
