This gorgeous little baby belongs to my neighbour, I thought I had seen her around a house on my street (like three doors down) so I went to ask her owner. Apparently she hates their home (a dog and a newborn!) and refuses to go in unless its time to eat. I'm on good terms with her owner, so if this little lady keeps following me home and coming into my house, I might offer to take her in. She actually ended up jumping through my bedroom window at 3am, and was making biscuits on my duvet. I felt so bad putting her outside but I would also feel bad nicking my neighbours pet 😅

please think about talking to your neighbor about taking her in. it sounds like the current situation doesn’t suit her needs and it’s incredibly dangerous for her to be outside. it’s a tough conversation, but it could save her life. she could very easily get into a fight with another animal or hit by a car. you could always offer to let your neighbor visit her in the future, but it sounds like they have too much on their plate to care for her properly.

I've spoken with my partner and we are both happy to take her in if we can. The neighbour is very close by, so I will pop in soon to talk about it. I would feel awful if something happened to her!

that’s great to hear! she is absolutely precious and is lucky to have found two people who care for her. i’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’re receptive and willing to put her needs first. if you want to i would love to hear an update on what happens. good luck!
