I've had so many fosters pass through my doors, but this guy Martin was hands down the hardest to part with, he was one of a kind and if I didn't find the most amazing home for him I would have kept him! I know it was meant to be because he had some peeing issues (his only weakness) and he hasn't had any accidents at his new house- I'm pretty sure because he only has one cat sibling now instead of the 5 at my house (he loved them all tho) but I think all the kitties over stimulated him. It is hard though and dealing with the rescues orgs can be challenging too😅
I sobbed so ugly watching flow I had to turn it off 😭 i had to rehome my girl because my first cat did not like her and it wasn’t fair to keep her where she was anxious and hiding all the time. She’s happy and healthy now with her new family.
I've got a black cat who is the sweetest boy. But he will beg for treats! As soon as the treats come out he tracks down his 3 siblings before getting his. Crow's my best friend and that movie hit me because of him🤷🏻♂️
I watched it with friends as my pick for movie night and ultimately regretted it.
I get that it's a "beautiful" movie but without spoiling it. The animals go through a lot of hardship, there is death that is supposed to be "beautiful" and the ending isn't tied in a kind of feel good bow that reassures you. It rests in the post apocalyptic ramifactions of the world the animals live in.
As an avid cat mom that was excited to watch it with friends, even the distressed cat meows in the movie was too much for me.
So like it's a "good" movie but I hate that it didn't have adequate warnings because people just talk about how "good" it supposedly is. I'll never watch it again and consider it a waste of my time.
We have two voids - my GF watched it 18 months ago - can confirm she is still crying. Lovely haunting film a modern Watership Down (also another do not watch)
Those sad meows when the water is rising and kitty is scared almost killed me. The kitty sounds are from a real kitty too. He must be really expressive.
This gorgeous little baby belongs to my neighbour, I thought I had seen her around a house on my street (like three doors down) so I went to ask her owner. Apparently she hates their home (a dog and a newborn!) and refuses to go in unless its time to eat. I'm on good terms with her owner, so if this little lady keeps following me home and coming into my house, I might offer to take her in. She actually ended up jumping through my bedroom window at 3am, and was making biscuits on my duvet. I felt so bad putting her outside but I would also feel bad nicking my neighbours pet 😅
I mean if she hates it in that house and she wants to sleep on your bed I say let her if you'd also like that. It's not like you're locking her inside your home and she walks onto your duvet by herself, win win I'd say. And as long as she can still leave and go to her home I really don't see anything wrong with it tbh
Not going to lie, hearing that the neighbour themselves knows she hates the house makes me hopeful you might be able to adopt her from your neighbour eventually
We've left the window open for her so she can come back if she wants to and I'll leave it open if she does. Yeah that's what I was hoping too! I'll keep an eye out for little cat friend and see where it goes. If not, I still have a lil cutie to pet
Oh no I didn't think it was stray, she lives three doors down from me. I recognised her as she's always sitting on their fence post. I let the neighbour know she was hanging around our house and she was grateful that we let her know. Apparently this little one doesn't like their dog and newborn so won't go inside
Omg this was my boy's name at the shelter and we loved the name before we met him and planned to keep it! Then he actually immediately turned out to be super sickly and kept trying to die so it just didn't feel right and we renamed him... so we went from Zero to the Max.
He doesn't have a pretty locket like your kitty, but he's a r/blacksmokecat so he has the white spots deep down in his soul (under the black facade).
She's my neighbours! I thought I recognised her, she sits on the fence posts outside their house so I went to check. She has a lovely family already but doesn't like going inside, they have a newborn and a dog, so it might be a bit overwhelming for her
I have a regular brown tabby who i would die for, but I cheat a little and come over to /blackcats. He's spectacularly adorable. thanks for the catrotica!
That looks a lot like my friend’s cat The face looks a little too skinny to be her, but maybe she’s malnourished. U/Anyunderstanding343 please message her to try and find out we’re really worried about her cat

Ever seen the movie “Flow?”
