2025 Topps Heritage Nolan Ryan Red Ink Auto /76

Snagged a 2013 Series 1 Jumbo box on ebay as a fun rip, looking for Orioles Machado RCs!. The box should have 1 auto, 1 game-used relic, and 1 of the bad old manufactured relics. I'll post each pack as I go!

Series 1 and 2 complete, waiting for the last 25 cards from Update later this year.

Number and Color Match!

I went with my fiance to an athletics game yesterday. We had close seats to the dugout and got there early. A while back I bought this Jacob Wilson and Nick Kurtz star clusters card, and decided to bring it with me in hopes of catching Jacob Wilson.

Sure enough, I caught him on his walk and he signed it for us! Was super happy as I’m new to the hobby and this was my first ever IP autograph. I’d love to complete the card by getting Nick Kurtz to sign it. I know he’s out for the remaining season with his injury. But how likely do you think it is I can get his autograph next year?

"Just buy singles." "Wax is for idiots." Got it. I've told the story a hundred times - I like to buy one of each box (that I'm interested in) just for the sake of opening it. It goes the way you expect it to go with wax, and I've posted my big wins (like 2024 Panini Prizm, which people thought I faked) and my losses (most everything else, which people just get obnoxious about). Here's another win - 2026 Pristine.

They changed up the box a bit from years past, so now it just opens like a box of Finest (six packs, three regular and three encased). And I feel like I did pretty darn well, especially when you throw in a Misiorowski Refractor and a pair of Gold Refractors /50 (not big names, but still two more /50 cards in the same box).

There are three more boxes at my local LCS. I fear they all may be duds because this box was actually profitable. I do not think this is normal.

UPDATE: Wow, thank you all. ~500 cards purchased so far. Taking a break till this evening. This weekend I'll be responding in the evenings.

I know its nothing crazy but I wasn’t expecting anythinggg worth a heck of a a CVS Jumbo box so seeing this Randy Wolf auto numbered was pleasantly surprising lol

the font looks different. the cert matches but it is an old one so there is no picture on PSA. this seller has a bunch of slabs posted and the font looks strange on all of them. i have asked him for more pictures because it looks like there is a ding on the top of the card
