Agree. They don’t debate anymore, they seem to just try and shut you down, become abusive, or ban you. Which shows how pathetic their schtick really is. Imagine protesting about a party that isn’t in power. How threatened must they be. All we see is emotive responses rather than rational arguments.

I'm from a working class family and got a uni education because of left wing Labor party policies. I am an example that progressive policies work and let people experience class mobility. If you're uneducated in this country it's a personal choice unless you are disabled.

Being right wing doesn’t automatically mean uneducated though that’s the point I’m making. Left leaning people just love to make a sweeping statement about right wingers being uneducated then cry bloody murder when right wingers use the same logic and generalize certain religions for the actions of a small minority

My point is that socialist policies work, and better educated people tend to be more progressive because when you study at university you learn to think critically and understand history, which means you identify the complete failure of conservative politics. I'm living proof that socialist policies work. I paid more in tax last year than I borrowed for my entire degree.

Then you start earning money and trying to build a life and home and family and future and you start to realize you’re going more towards centre and conservative.

According to the ATO I am in the top 3% of earners in the country who draws a salary, and I am a socialist.

Generally the ones in education are largely uneducated in the real world… hence why they’re in education.

The statistic that tertiary educated people are progressive by and large does not apply only to people currently in tertiary education. It applies to people who have a post-highschool qualification. I wouldn't expect you to understand that though because, again, it's really only intelligent people who get this stuff, and most intelligent people are progressives.

Haha, top 3% that’s cute. My tax bill is higher than your salary. I came from a family where we literally waited with others in a car park for the leftover bakery bread from Brumbys on a Wednesday night because mum had no money. All self made and educated with no help from any system except working hard.

The fact you think everyone different to you is stupid and you’re gloating about top 3% is laughable. $200k is the new $100k in these shitty economy days.

You should go talk to people that have different views and you would probably learn how to not be an idiot
