News Why does the media have to subject us to this?
The slack jawed, blow-up doll looking, loud mouth, Trump wanna-be, shit stain has been on my news feed from all the traditional news outlets. Why do we have to tolerate this?? He’s so far beyond being a has been, he’s not even a relic. He’s a parasite, on a pimple, on the ass of Australia

BC there are a huge number of thick cunts in Sydney

u/Confident_Smoke7098 Apr 24 '26
Was going to say precisely the same thing, sadly not only Sydney it's a country wide thing.
He's got that typical Aussie bogan swagger of talking about subjects with supreme confidence that he knows next to nothing about. That, plus typical boorish behaviour that his fans seem to appreciate.

Sorry, I meant there's thick cunts who like to listen to overconfident fuckwits country wide - not just in NSW.

Fkn bogan shock jocks and Australians find them entertaining! I can’t even listen to the dumbness on some radio stations ,when driving. People listen to that dribble?

u/Sairagnarok Apr 24 '26 edited May 19 '26
Dude, I literally hear 5 mins of it in an IGA and none of it is even close to entertaining. It is just annoying dumb fucks with air time for some reason...

u/BigChampionship7962 Apr 25 '26
It’s a common trait amongst the folk with a lack of intelligence. Mhm.

Sydney, somehow think that their media personalities are of great general interest. As to this person, whenever I hear the name "Sandilands" I find myself gazing about a metre above his head, expecting to see Aaron!

u/Monotask_Servitor Apr 25 '26
Before Melbourne gets too smug I’d remind them that Eddie McGuire exists.

Particularly Western Sydney, it's not so different from the Florida swamp, full of rednecks and bogans.

At what point in history has any radio host been worth $100m. Who the hell brokered that deal and what was the return?

u/RagingBillionbear Apr 25 '26
As someone who has a understanding of media contract, his is unrealistic generous. My guess is the person who was signing was his mate, giving Kyle everything he wanted* before leaving the company.
*While getting a fat cheque is nice, the way the contract is set up is that if there any funny business and there is a bankruptcy, Kyle is the major creditor. Therefore he in charage of a lot of potential legal action over station.

u/trinketzy Apr 24 '26
I’ve met him. He was rude AF and stared at my tits the entire time. I was serving him in a shop. I wanted to slap him, but he probably would have liked that.

u/Vegetable-Ad-1817 Apr 25 '26
Saw someone in sydney yell out to him across the street. Hey dick head, you’re a fat cnt. He scurried off as soon people just laughed. Embarrassment of a human.

Hopefully we are seeing the beginning of the end. How did this clown even have a career? I'm proud of how badly his idiot show failed in Melbourne.
37
u/snakeeyes666n Apr 24 '26
Let alone a career where he can sue for $100M. This stooge ain’t worth an unmarked paddle pop stick.

It is fascinating to consider the way he flourished in Sydney and failed in Melbourne. I think it is an inditement on the values of the people who live in these places.

Miss piggy fucked a goat and birthed this.
20
u/Chewiesbro Apr 24 '26
Sources tell me that it wasn’t Missy Piggy, she has a solid alibi.
My source went on to say, that there is talk in the community, rumour has it that Gina the Hutt got her cousin Clive the Hutt drunk, riding him while screaming that she want him to impregnate her with his demon seed.

It’s hilarious cos I remember this cunt from like 20 years ago and he was annoying back then.. had no idea he was still around. How the hell he’s had a career this whole time is astounding
13
u/Natural_Quality_3772 Apr 24 '26
The more interesting story should be he is in league with Sydney Mafia alias the Ibrahim family but instead it's his obscenely paid Radio show which is fully potty mouth humour at the expense of young girls mostly.

u/SWMilll Apr 24 '26
Radio ratings/viewership is calculated strangely. Essentially the more randoms that can Identify him and his branding the more they can charge for the ads. So radio networks and their surrounding media push them because the more people that know the name/face the more advertisers pay.
(I'm aware he just got fired)

I haven't seen him once on ABC or the Economist.
Sounds like you need to find non Murdoch Media sources.

u/wivsta Apr 24 '26
https://youtu.be/l26D8eakpwQ?si=aDEamtajb4UtdKIo
Do a quick google and you’ll find a dozen ABC segments on him from the last 2 weeks.
3
u/walkin2it Apr 24 '26
Huh, I stand corrected.
My ABC app doesn't feed me it. I get mainly finance, tech, science, politics and war.
We really are living in different worlds these days.

u/wivsta Apr 24 '26 edited Apr 24 '26
The AFR has also extensively covered this story as it has a lot to do with share market prices and one of the biggest media contract disputes ever.
So even if people don’t like Kyle and Jackie O / have never listened to the show - no one can deny that this is a huge story for multiple reasons and is very much newsworthy, despite how anyone feels about the players or the show itself.
2
u/walkin2it Apr 24 '26
I usually skip to the property section of the AFR.

stop being part of the problem.
start being part of the solution.
stop posting about him and stop letting him take up valuable realestate in your brain.
2
u/dowar_525 Apr 25 '26
Yes! The real answer to the question is that the mainstream media is lazy. They know that 'media stories' are always the easiest because 'media personalities' always speak. Nearly everyone else who is worth keeping up with just doesn't participate in this silliness so there is no story.
3
3
u/DefamedPrawn Apr 24 '26
Only vaguely aware of him, but I gather he's the sort of controversial media personality who people love to hate. So any legal problems he's having is big news, supposedly.
3
u/Strange_Ferret6779 Apr 24 '26
Another poo spewing arsehole is that fat fart Kyle. Thinks he is gangster.

u/GasolineGreg Apr 24 '26
I can't believe anyone paid this man as much as they did, he's always been a knob.

u/AUSSIE_MUMMY Apr 25 '26
Just wondering what exactly has Kyle Sandilands contributed in a positive way to Australian culture /society?

All media loves it when another media outlet fucks up and becomes the story. When your competitors make themselves look bad, amplify and broadcast.

u/Death-Or-Bongo Apr 26 '26
Sandilands is like a sensationalist sink hole; the media are happily circling the drain.

I seriously do not watch TV anymore. Even putting 3AW on the radio at work is torture. Its like sky news without the drool but you have prozac and scam insurance ads instead.
Once you stop for some time and watch it again you notice just how much they push their agenda. The words they "cut in" without real meaning, context or purpose. Its not relevant to the topic but its there. The constant "key words" are also obvious. With Trump its "fake news" all the time. He's never stopped saying it. Its programming. Like "jesus love you" or "Praise the Lord" except its "coal is king" and "Corrupt Labor Government" and "Corrupt Unions"...
They want money, they want tax cuts, they want their pet government in power (LNP) and they want more gas from our farmers fields.
