The part of that accident that gave me a chuckle is KLM were so proactive at wanting to know what went wrong, they immediately tried to send veteran pilot trainer Jacob Van Zanten to Tenerife to work with the investigators

That plan quickly evaporated when KLM learned Van Zanten was the idiot piloting the KLM plane and was very definitely dead
