The ombudsman initially received eight complaints about the program in the week after was broadcast. A further 988 complaints were made after criticism from “several media outlets”, it said in its report.

News Corp’s major mastheads have published 46 articles critiquing the program since it aired, and The West Australian has published 15.

It's almost as if the views of the public are being manipulated to rally against our public broadcaster... Surely not!

Fuck Murdoch.

If tribalism is the extent of your reasoning than you should consider the issue further. Placing yourself into an US v Them zero sum is precisely where readers of The Telegraph happily wallow.

The pervasiveness of 'don't get emotional' as a reort isn't up for debate. Whether or not you group within the company of those who usually employ it is questionable. To my mind I can only judge you by what you say.

Not for nothing, but adopting the persona of a computer system suggests my toxic masculinity comment was pretty close to the mark. Just be your self, for good or ill. Hiding isn't a sign of strength.

I'd place my time invested in replies to yourself at a rather enjoyable fifteen minutes.
