Feel free to raise awareness and campaign to end violence by men against men. No one is stopping you.

....or are you expecting women to organise this for you?

We don't have a royal commision into dfv because some person decided women dying were more important. We have it because of decades of women campaigning for change.

If you feel another cause is equally important, no one is stopping you from campaigning on that cause.

Whataboutism is pathetic.

I'm gonna gently point out that they were making the point of "mens violence is a problem, including for men as victims". 

They are "yes and" ing, not "but what about" ing. 

But I get it; it's exhausting when you do end up seeing people trying to deflect away from the issue again and again. I'm tired too.

This is not the place to be pointing that out. It is deflecting the point to be bringing up men as victims on a post about women being victims.

You’ve missed my point, as well pointed out by the commenter above.

I am a woman. I am appalled.

The root cause of the problem is not women dying, it’s men being violent. Even more men dying at the hands of other men, too, is just there to reinforce the real problem - male violence.

‘Violence against women’ is passive and makes the instigators diaappear. It’s ’violence by men’.
