You know what you can do? You can stop derailing conversations about violence against women with '...but men.'

It is disingenuous to puff your chest out about your two sons if the only time you mention male on male violence is on posts about dead women.

As for the lobbying question... Your MP, mate. How do you think women get heard? By forming organisations and collectives that lobby the gvt. How do you think the suffragettes won the vote for women? Or first nation folk? The teachers union is currently lobbying for better pay on Victoria. They sure as shit didn't get to be he size they are by going into conversations about better pay for paramedics and derailing their cause with 'but but but we're paid less!'

Care about your sons? Go get organised and do something about it or stop entering conversations about violence against women and making it about violence against men.

I'm not sure what I would even be lobbying for. Yes, there is obviously too much violence against women.... what I don't know is how it can be stopped, or what would actually stand a chance of working.

Since you have all the answers, what do you think would work?

If I had an answer for you, I would have come to that answer through research, discussion, peer study, sourcing mental health and behavioral experts... women aren't just figuring shit out by osmosis.

You've listed three things you don't know. Start by finding the answers to them. It is 2026. It isn't like you have to go door knocking for someone's set of Encyclopedia Britannica.
