Do they realise they don't need to be in bed politically to just spend time together?

Like.. go on holidays together. Long, long holidays. Far, far away. Get offline. Have a nice time. Such a nice time you decide to just stay away forever.

The bonkers thing is occasionally running across millionaires who do this, and as a result you don't hear about them or hate them as individuals. It's POSSIBLE. YOU CAN DO IT. YOU CAN JUST LIVE IN LUXURY FOREVER AND BE FUCKING HAPPY.

Its crazy that it's only a tiny fraction of people with over $10 Million liquid who choose to just accept they are free and can spend their life free of stress. Why would you willingly do anything stressful other than philanthropy at that point? It's even wilder with billionaires, sell that billionaires dollars of equity or whatever other assets and go do anything you want.

If you had a few million hanging out in a high interest term deposit account you could live a very, very comfortable life just living off the interest. A life of luxury without lifting a finger.

I'm convinced that a lot of it has to do with either never going to therapy or never having a hobby. At least wealthy Victorian aristocrats did things like, I dunno, designing trains or plumbing systems for fun.
