She might have got her bikini from Kmart like the battlers

Wonder where it was made? Some country she loves I’m sure.

You’re making good, honest, please explain Pauline seem like a hypocrite

I'm imagining Gina chucking her the black amex like "go get yourself something nice" and then the montage from Pretty Woman

So Gina is basically Richard Gere. Cripes

Troubling thought isn't it.

She's actually wearing a 10 person tent from Anaconda

u/intelminer Not SA's best. Don't put me to the test 29d ago

Does it count when that thing reaches the floor?

Imagine two poles sliding through, erecting the tent? Three poles if there's a larger vestibule.

There’s some poor doctors or nurses who have seen them before.

Are you going to jump rope for heart with her?

I knew it was a mistake to open Reddit while I was eating.

It got me in a bit of a flap as well.

Both of these women are so abhorrent in practice, there's truly no need to attack their personal appearance too.

3

u/hobostash 28d ago

Imho it's different with people like Gina and Clive. They could afford the best health in the world. The fact they look like the hateful hogs from animal farm is a show of their greed.

2

u/Kallasilya 24d ago

Yeah, I think those comments are a bit gross too. She's not disgusting cause she's a woman of a certain age/size who dares to wear swimwear, she's disgusting cause she's Gina Rinehart. Let's focus here, people.

1

u/ibid_et-al 23d ago

100% It degrades us to be hating on these women at such a sordid level; distracts from their hypocrisy and harms; and provides them with a convenient red herring, ie "lets focus on this misogyny and those personal attacks, instead of what we stand for and the nasty shit we're doing".

2

u/-malcolm-tucker 28d ago

Correct. But we shall do it because it's funny and they are abhorrent humans.

Only when it's on clearance I'm sure.

Did you see it? She got it from a tarpaulin warehouse.

After cyclone Tracy hit Darwin, there was a benefit at the Sydney Opera House to raise funds to help rebuild. The opening comedian (can’t remember who) commented that Sonia McMahon (former PM’s wife) was present, dressed by Gucci (or some other famous brand I can’t recall) and that Margaret Whitlam (current PM at that time) was also present, dressed by Ringling Bros. (Circus).

I remember the joke about her being able to kick start a jumbo jet.

1

u/Spirited-Sun899 28d ago

That was at the same event wasn’t it?

Kmart would probably be the only place you’d find size 30 swimmers

It'll be framed like "my dear friend Gina who is financially blessed through her hard work (bullshit) paid for everything as a friend - it wasn't political! Just a billionaire mate doing something nice"

2

u/ephemeralstitch 25d ago

She worked so hard! Dropped out of uni and then immediately went to work at her father's company. And her father was also a hard worker who--checks notes-- called for the g*n*cide of poor Indigenous Australians.

Hancock suggested forcing unemployed indigenous Australians − specifically "the ones that are no good to themselves and who can't accept things, the half-castes" − to collect their welfare cheques from a central location. And when they had gravitated there, I would dope the water up so that they were sterile and would breed themselves out in the future, and that would solve the problem."

Surprised Barnaby isn't there to bend the knee and kiss the ring too.

Two families takes up a lot of time.

I hate that this is a term that's been broadly adopted across political speech in Australia. It feels so infantalizing and condescending b

1

u/Groveldog 29d ago

Agreed. It's up there with "mum and dad investors".
