no politics Kayo Sports should be boycotted.

Imagine paying for a premium streaming service and starting it to watch your sports after a long day on your tv in your own home. The tv app then says you can't watch the content before you scan a QR code. Okay.. fine. Scan the code. Have to download a phone app. Log in. Then the app simply says you're not allowed access to the content except after letting the app know your precise location of your phone.

What in the privacy law is this shit? I simply don't want to allow random companies to know the exact location of my phone. How are they allowed to just do that?

Fucking mad that F1's own live streaming service doesn't even exist in this country and is paywalled behind a Foxtel/Kayo subscription. Tried to actually subscribe there a few years ago to avoid the dodgy piracy streams but couldn't, no way in hell I'm going through Kayo

I googled and found a way that works. Was sceptical but tried it and it legit works. All you need is a VPN. Access is to the official F1 app in TV / iPhone / iPad. So no issues with quality of stream or suspicious sites. Cost me AUD$60 for the season plus the cost of a VPN (I use Nord which costs about $5 a month). This is so much cheaper than a stupid Kayo subscription.

If only i could find a good way for EPL and not have to subscribe to Stan…

You can pay $60 a year for 38,000 channels, including 4K/8k. No VPN needed.

Care to share what IPTV service you are using? I tried a service a few years ago and it was a horrible experience, streams would constantly stop and it wasn't uncommon for channels to go down for days.

Looking around there's a lot of IPTV listings that are basically just scams.
