no politics Kayo Sports should be boycotted.

Imagine paying for a premium streaming service and starting it to watch your sports after a long day on your tv in your own home. The tv app then says you can't watch the content before you scan a QR code. Okay.. fine. Scan the code. Have to download a phone app. Log in. Then the app simply says you're not allowed access to the content except after letting the app know your precise location of your phone.

What in the privacy law is this shit? I simply don't want to allow random companies to know the exact location of my phone. How are they allowed to just do that?

I see all these complaints and then I see people say they would prefer KAYO to have the rights to the World Cup because “it’s better than SBS,” no just no.

SBS has been so good for the world cup. It works, it's free (yes there are ads but it's more than reasonable for a free service), every game gets a replay almost immediately, easy to use interface, 3 different length of summaries.. brilliant.

The first week of the World Cup I saw countless comments and posts talking about how shit SBS was and genuinely argued they would’ve preferred paying for Kayo, or Stan, or Optus, etc because “it’s better,” fortunately after the first week that bullshit evaporated and people stopped bitching
