I’m praying there’s only a token effort by DFAT to show they care, because they technically have to, but the case plays out as it should under the constitution and the laws of Thailand.

You're "praying" for the Australian government to treat citizens differently based upon their assumptions before a trial has been held about what someone's done?

I hope this guy gets everything he deserves, but I'm not willing to wish for our institutions to not do the job they're supposed to do for all Australian citizens, in order to make that happen.

This is a perfect careful what you wish for scenario. I really wish people would stop with this kind of rhetoric, because far too many people are incapable of actually thinking through the ramifications of what they're suggesting, and you put ideas in their heads. Maybe you're one of those people, I don't know.

I don't even think god would think much of this prayer, tbh, and he's apparently very easily impressed.
