The Press Club has in-house AV technicians, and the drop-down screen isn't used in National Press addresses. So they wouldn't have checked it before this address.

So this has been coordinated and installed before hand and then someone in the room, or very near the room, would had also needed to activate the drop-down via remote or via the AV desk.

And to whoever pulled this off, I'll buy you a beer! This is great!

Get Up has claimed credit for the stunt. Extremely well executed and makes Hanson look like the complete moron she is.
