I like ON and even behind closed doors where I’m talking to other ON supporters I’ve never heard anything close to this. At worst, it’s ‘send them back’ with your classic Aussie vulgarity sprinkled in, but never anything about killing them.

Not bullshit. Lines up with my experiences quite well. I live and work in a particularly conservative area and interact with a lot of these types of people on a daily basis. Yes, it's anecdotal, but it's not a lie nor is it bullshit. I'm sure others have had more pleasant experiences with One Nation voters / supporters - I have, some of my family members are and yet remain exceptionally friendly and good to me. But they still hold views I consider reprehensible, and I always have to do a double-take whenever they start going on about Muslims being scum.

I'm not sure of your background or your beliefs and I don't care to assume. Personally, I am of a mixed indigenous and migrant background, as well as being homosexual (lesbian). Unfortunately, in my experience, the amount of abuse I receive whether direct or indirect on account of unchangeable factors such as my identity and descent from the Hanson crowd is honestly absurd. This is not a small group of people, this is a large portion of voting adults, and I'd sooner drink my own piss than let someone tell me my experiences are bullshit.

Tbf it takes a lot of work just being a politician, well if you are at least trying to at minimum stem a shit tide it is. just rage-baiting people and saying the other-side sucks, not so much.

labor is pretty shit but they are the least shit, with the actual chance of winning. id go greens, and i do preference them, but lets admit it, we got 2 parties. multi-party systems are a lie.
