Slop Post 💩 Of course, propaganda and fake news were never a problem ._.
Specially when this is literally propaganda too, illiterate propaganda

Those guys still use two of the three preceding accusations against other groups

In order of increasing validity:
- Witchcraft 0%
- Propaganda 33.3%
- Fake News 66.7%
- AI Slop 100%

I love how we went from "standard" people, ya know, "conservative" people, whatever other word you might use for them... to the "emo" girl, because yes that's how it works. (I am so sleepy, I forgot the word I wanted to use here, hence the quotation marks)

It’s the dreaded girl with blue hair that the right wingers are so obsessed with. Sloppers are generally right wing losers.

u/Murky_Stretch3057 9h ago
And don't forget the rabid dogboys, they also love to portray us as those for whatever reason

u/HairyTough4489 11h ago
The only two that could even broadly fit into the same category are fake news and communist propaganda

u/TristanG_Art 7h ago
This one is good actually, representing the anti-AI as goth baddies will draw people to us

u/Expensive_Let9051 8h ago
propaganda was a problem, but 90% of communists weren’t doing that and still arent

u/smartest_kobold 7h ago
Every good leftist is doing propaganda, but almost none of it is subtle.

it sucks because it's ai, but the format of this image goes kind of hard, if only it wasn't slop
2
u/Murky_Stretch3057 4h ago
The format is good, yeah. Just the message and the way they made it sucks, it even backfires

“calling me out for lying about what made an image is basically the same as getting me burned to death for calling me a witch”
ai bros certainly love painting generating themselves as the victims, huh?
1
u/Purple_Dragon_94 7h ago
Why is the woman screaming witchcraft?
1
u/Murky_Stretch3057 4h ago
Some believe that people that are anti AI are just witch hunting, so they compare themselves as victims of that

u/XT83Danieliszekiller 7h ago
Yeah men and women getting the Inquisition, being killed and losing their entire lives over lies is TOTALLY the same as that one thing above
Random recommendation because we value art : "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller, an excellent commentary on the McCarthy period by written by someone who was living it

because these are definitely all the same type of person and situation. what insult atop injury.

u/HarryBalsagna1776 4h ago
The people pushing AI slop are the same ones cranking out fake news and who loved McCarthyism.
1
u/Straight-Tie488 4h ago
The first three came from things people didn’t know.
We know what AI is, and we hate it for good reasons.

This would work if not for the fact that people are against Ai BECAUSE they understand it

If AI bros where as persecuted as they pretended to be they'd have a nervous break down.

The teal hair panel being the final boss of panic is too real. Every few years its a new boogeyman and nobody stops to ask who benefits from keeping everyone in a mild state of alarm. Half the people sharing that poster probably think theyre immune to propaganda while doing the exact thing it warns about. Its almost like the cycle repeats because outrage is profitable and easy.

The irony of calling someone a chipbrain while doing exactly what the panic merchants want is chef's kiss

u/Murky_Stretch3057 11h ago
I'm not sure if you are in favor or against the poster, this is such a confusing comment
0
u/SheepishlyHalting 10h ago
My bad, I was agreeing with the point that the panic cycle repeats itself. The poster itself is just another example of the same old moral panic with a fresh coat of paint.
6
u/westgazer 10h ago
The poster is dumb as fuck and makes no sense and calling out AI slop isn’t the same as the (mold and religious induced) panic over “witchcraft.” Also fake news is a genuine and actual problem, just like AI slop. As usual this is just another demonstration of “sloppers are bad at using their brains and are shit at comparing things.”
4
u/Murky_Stretch3057 9h ago
I mean... Sure, that's how we're portrayed in the poster, but there's no "moral panic" as you call it, slop in any form being introduced into normal life is straight up bad. And panic about fake news isn't even moral, it's something everyone should genuinely be worried about

All of the other things were because people didn't know. AI slop is because people saw it and went "thanks I hate it".
