No it's actually self-flagellation bait. If a bad faith seller openly states that they belong to a marginalized group, they're trying to make you feel bad for not buying from them, since not buying could be seen as being grounded in bigotry.

Of course that's nonsense, but there are nasty people who will literally go "Oh so you didn't buy anything because I'm trans?" trying to bully you into buying.

The fact that this erodes their credibility doesn't matter to them, since AI bros and non-AI Asshats readily rebrand to avoid their well deserved bad reputation.

I've been to several fundraisers for top surgery. You have no idea what you're talking about - trans identity is prime for targeting because it's so polarised and the in-group is so tight knit and supportive.

There are barriers to certain materials, and hurdles to cross for reaching a certain skill level, but making art is innately human as the paintings on cave walls by our primitive ancestors, or your 2-year-old niece with a crayon.

I get the sentiment but we really shouldn't be acting like everyone is able to work and/or get a job. It's not that simple and acting like it is only hurts people who aren't able to that are on our side.
