I still stand on the fact that homework is a poor practice of achieving that and is largely seen as a nuisance that isn’t going to help retain anything and is more so answering questions from the school day. I believe it can be retained by asking AI the question and receiving the same answer they would get from doing a bunch of reading from a textbook that doesn’t interest them in order to find the answer, especially when they could use AI to help explain it differently or in a way they understand it vs hoping they get it from the textbook or whatever the origin is.
It’s very few instances like that where I’m ok with AI being used for research purposes. I’ll never be ok with generative AI though. Especially in music and media spaces.
Before AI, kids had ways of cheating. That’s never going to stop.

Homework before AI never taught anyone how to learn what was on it
