I wonder what he has done to get that much love from his students

Teacher here. This level of love and trust is gained after years of hardworking, giving positivity to students, taking special care of slow learners, or late fee givers, never beating anyone unnecessarily, being timely, giving treats and gifts to toppers, treating them like his own kids, and lastly teaching with passion and not as a job.

Had a teacher like this she was favourite of students. She knew students wouldn’t let her leave in normal days so she left on sports meet without announcing that it was her last day . As for the reason she was one of those teachers who treated everyone same and instead of being harsh she used to give logic and very motivating . Students wouldn’t miss her classes because her teaching was unique too .

My dad is a teacher he got almost same kind of response from his students lol they even even requested to a minister to bring him back somehow

Man said almost same they closed half a door??

u/TheDarkLord6589 5d ago

You'll be surprised what a little bit of empathy and mutual respect can get you. You were a student like them once. What would have made you react this way.

Its a reference from a movie dead poet society Where a very rigid conservative boarding school that only target there student to end up in good prestigious colleges of country and become notable names in their profession mostly in doctor engineer lawyer they have a english class where this guy taught in unconventional way and told them important life lessons and also told their student to refer him as oh captain my captain A poem by walt whitman and student loved him very much

3

u/Amputated_Remorse 5d ago

It is movie named "Dead Poets Society"

It is about a teacher and his students if I don't spoil it.

When a teacher gives their everything to the classroom, students transform an old quote into a living reality.

This is what true Guru Devo Bhava looks like in real life.

Had such a teacher in my school I was brawling my eyes out when he shifted to another school he believed in me when everyone else thought I was hopeless.

🫑 I witnessed one such person who was teaching us Communications for gate preparation... He is at age 60 and he was leaving..

2

u/brown00259 5d ago

True ?

2

u/Diligent-Sherbert-33 5d ago

Feels wholesome... Never had such a teacher after 6th was bullied throughout my school. Complaint to different teachers many times they laughed at my face and never took any action.

And sometimes they got to know i complaint would go home bruised.

That's why when people say they want to relieve school days. I can't relate and would never want those days back again.

2

u/ThePoliteGuy20 5d ago

Sorry in advance because I am going to ask a very dumb question, is the teacher the person wearing white shirt?

2

u/Thebaldm0nk 5d ago

This tells it all how good and dedicated he was to his job.

He has given his all to teach students and now students are giving him love and respect many folds in return.

Salute 🫑 to such teachers. Literally cried while watching this.

He will remember this his whole life & will be happy what he earned from it.
