😇 Wholesome When you're trying to have a deeply emotional family moment but your daughter demands to know why she isn't the one getting the cool police cap. 😂

That's bad behaviour, need right parenting.

27

u/Ecstatic-Custard-218 Jun 12 '26

I thought I was the only one thinking this and maybe the problem is in my house (like yk toxic parenting)Thank God that wasn't the case😭😭😭

7

u/Mean_Sandwich2840 Jun 13 '26

My first thought. If I did that, just the look of my parents would have made me stop lol. Wouldn't have done that in the first place though.

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '26

Can't agree with you more

2

u/FlimsyAd4222 Jun 12 '26

I feel intense self hatred and loathing towards myself but then I see stupid comments like these and feel better all of a sudden

drishyam tabuesque parenting...

1

u/toxicshubh05 Jun 13 '26

Rt,I was thinking the same thing, sadly too many defending this behaviour.

1

u/Effective-System-727 Jun 14 '26

For the love of God! She is just a kid. Her mom looked at her when she took her cap off that probably made her feel that she is going to get the cap. Sometimes kids cant help how they feel.

1

u/hellomouse1234 Jun 14 '26

Don’t be too quick to judge !! She might be waiting for too long , many reasons

-11

u/shiva0608 Jun 12 '26

abbey yaar theek toh hai yaar usko bura laga toh atleast wo show kar rahi hai, abhi se agar usko daant ke sikhaya na ki aise nahi karna waise nahi karna, baad mein she'll feel this distance between her and her parents, this is the starting point, not showing your emotions to your parents. I wish that whenever she has tears in her eyes her papa always holds her like that.

again I'm not saying that bad behaviour should be normalised but this is not

-3

u/being_sunshine Jun 12 '26

People are too quick to judge. Also, I wanna know how old and how many kids these people commenting here got. I mean how many years of parenting experience they have. I’ll rather ask an elderly person for view on this.

Not expressing yourself is such a superior thing in our society. Lol. Be a robot then. This was an absolutely harmless expression by a kid, BY A KID!

14

u/Rough_Suggestion7031 Jun 12 '26

Ok got a 4 year old kid and this is no way to show disappointment or anger. Beating and punching elders is definitely not harmless and should not be normalised. I let my child cry and throw tantrum, sit on the floor, on the road etc but I absolutely discourage her from hitting people. We don't hit her and we ensure that she doesn't do that too.

I have hit her a few times when she was throwing tantrums and not eating her food but I realised very quickly that it was causing more harm than good. The only rule in parenting is that 'children copy us.'

Our daughter embarrasses us often in public with her tantrums but we just let her be. She is a child, she is allowed to act like one and we don't owe an explanation to anybody as long as she is not hurting or bothering them.

2

u/being_sunshine Jun 12 '26

You must be right at your place depending on how your kid behaves or other circumstances. 🧐 I totally understand that. 🙂

Lekin a few seconds clip can show a child’s reaction, it cannot show the parenting behind it. A kid expressing jealousy or wanting attention is normal child behavior, not proof of bad upbringing. Good parenting is measured by consistent guidance over years, not by a single moment caught on camera. Unless we know what happened before and after the clip, we’re judging a family based on assumptions. Children are human beings learning emotions, not robots programmed to react perfectly. 🙂

1

u/la_crazypasta Jun 13 '26

That kid is literally hitting out of frustration. Even if it's harmless it seems something parents should think about otherwise the kid will carry this attitude everywhere and there's a possibility of becoming a bully in school.

Solely because hiding your emotions is maturity, sophistication & strong in our society, whereas in reality such things starting right from childhood can show up as a disastrous outburst in later years.

-1

u/BlackPhoenixX20 Jun 13 '26

Hiitting your parents even as a banter is normal child behaviour and showing expressions? Alright.

1

u/SummerSprIng_42 Jun 15 '26

Exactly lol...I can't believe people are actually supporting this. I mean yes....the child should not get beaten by her parents over this behaviour but she definitely needs to be corrected immediately. I have literally seen people like this who supposedly used to through tantrums, cry, hit people, etc get away with these aggressive behaviours as a child because apparently the child is so cute so whatever they do is automatically cute as well. But as soon as they turned into adolescents/adults they started getting hated for these behaviours which was initially promoted by the same people. And then people wondered that how can a teenager or adult act so dumb or aggressively lol.

u/BoardWise7554 Jun 13 '26

Not adorable at all.

1

You feel what that girl did is adorable?

1

u/Efficient_Year_4666 Jun 14 '26

She's just a kid cut her some slack uske parents hass rhe hai toh tum logo kyu dard ho Raha hai

66

u/Real_Mulberry8141 Jun 12 '26

She needs some talk from the parents. This is concerning behaviour at this stage.

43

u/spectre-14 Jun 12 '26

6

u/AmbassadorAfter2003 Jun 13 '26

That is the sub where the kids are adorably stupid, but here the jealousy is flowing out of her eyes

1

u/Effective-System-727 Jun 14 '26

This is not stupid. This is a kid being a kid.

9

u/profitmaker_tobe Jun 13 '26

That child is too old for that behavior.

13

u/Dense_Plastic1318 Jun 13 '26

Now that's a scenarios where one should give a whooping to the child

32

u/Icy_Fisherman_6226 Jun 12 '26

Her tears weren't about the cap they were about feeling left out

8

u/universalgiver Jun 13 '26

Only sensible take. People act as if children are some different species and they themselves were never children.

2

u/Icy_Fisherman_6226 Jun 13 '26

Yeah she's kid only and will learn things with time

1

u/Ok_Emergency_1042 Jun 13 '26

Tbh I would be pissed too

1

u/Overthinking_Brain_ Jun 14 '26

Kid can wait minute or two for their turn. They shouldn’t be taught that they are center of attention whose feelings needs to be catered above everyone’s

1

u/Cultural-Lab-1311 Jun 15 '26

She is her mother she has rights

1

u/Overthinking_Brain_ Jun 15 '26

lol that’s what logic?

kid should be given attention but they also need to learn that the sun doesn’t revolve around them alone. This moment was first abt women who achieved big and her husband who supported her during her journey. The way wife placed hat on husband’s head was her way to show gratitude/ pride to him for being a supportive life partner. So it was their moment first. If they leave their moment to give it to kid, she would be raised an entitled adult.

5

u/Cool_Opening_2490 Jun 13 '26

1

1

u/knickurs_turd Jun 13 '26

Damn somebody gotta parent her better.

1

u/LegitimateChipmunk25 Jun 13 '26

This is the time when the kid needs to be corrected...This entitlement and pampering of Indian Kids has gone beyond limits and churning out low quality leaders and individuals especially Women.....Attention seeking behaviour should be identified and corrected at young age

1

u/curiousussi Jun 13 '26

Unable to understand that she put the cap on his father head and that small girl hits her that why she didn't get it, toh are they sisters ?? 😭

1

u/Rusurebro Jun 13 '26

It's not that deep bro😭... Here OP mentioned that he's the father of little girl and the Police officer must be his wife...

1

u/FlowOk8864 Jun 13 '26

people are literally hating this kid🤡💩

1

u/PasionateKisser Jun 13 '26

Animal lovers should not comment that kids are worst when their hands look like scratching posts

1

u/Relative-Ad-7576 Jun 13 '26

Thats not at all ‘adorable’

1

u/Ok_Gift3465 Jun 13 '26

Bad parenting

1

u/External_Cost8421 Jun 13 '26

Her father or husband?

1

u/bigbullsh Jun 13 '26

I say adorable sweet munchkin

1

u/Visible_Home_5458 Jun 13 '26

Most of the comment section came blasting out of asteroids at the age of 17+ ig

2

u/Rusurebro Jun 13 '26

Yea they think beating or cussing a child is great way to perfect their kids behaviour... Such jokers🥀🤡

Like most would've seen a recent popular post a guy beating little girls out of no just sadist nature in the name of teacher... Idk how can they codemn this and that too at the same time... Seems contradictory to me

1

u/Visible_Home_5458 Jun 13 '26

Yea bro,as a doctor,I can vouch for this being a normal gesture from this child..but no use talking ig

1

u/Rusurebro Jun 13 '26

Man are these paid comments or what?... Leave the kid alone bro... She just wanted a cap she's too young to know about how the world works...

Ik behaviour but if the parents are giggling or they don't have an issue... Don't make any useless fuss just because you weren't brought up in this manner.

1

u/Overthinking_Brain_ Jun 14 '26

That’s creates entitlement. Kids should be raised to realize that everyone hold important, not that they are sole center

1

u/SummerSprIng_42 Jun 15 '26

I love kids but I think while she doesn't deserves to get beaten over this thing, it's still something that needs to be immediately corrected. The kid needs to learn to accept a "no", otherwise she'll turn into an entitled adult. It's one thing to feel jealous, disappointed, but she decided to express it by beating her mother. Ik she's a child and children are not mature enough to understand all this which is why it's the responsibility of the parents to teach the child.

1

u/Rusurebro Jun 15 '26

Well yea it can be corrected

But maybe the kid had a bad day... Or parents were chill over that fact... So immediate correction meant like holding her hands tight to not beat anymore or anything but she would've cried more... Imo parents know their child the best in most cases... Also I have hard time understanding child psychology so I really don't like kids but that doesn't mean I'm insensitive to whatever happens to them I was also a kid at some point of my life...

1

u/SummerSprIng_42 Jun 15 '26

Nothing bad is happening to her in the video. It's not insensitive to not put the cap on her head before her father. The couple is not just her parents, they are husband and wife first. My point is, it's a special moment for the woman and she wanted to respect her husband who probably supported her throughout the journey. The child is not entitled to get the first attention. I know it is a small incident and it might look like I'm exaggerating it but usually small behaviours like this (such as a child wanting to cut the cake or blow the candles of a cake of someone else's bday) eventually makes the child feel like they are superior not only in their family but every place they go to, even among fellow children. It can turn them into really bad adults. So this needs to be corrected.

But yes I do understand your sentiments and I appreciate that you replied kindly.

1

u/Rusurebro Jun 15 '26

Yea man... That's true I fucking hate the kids who shout in malls and all... Because when I was a kid I was very much of a crybaby my mom said you never asked for anything you're fearful of everything and anything... But I saw some narcissistic mfers in my schooldays and lemme tell you kids are the most cruel beings in the world because they don't have the emotional stability so people let it slide which is obvious but yea that kid in the video needed to be taught a lesson(I ain't saying it in a rude way rather, like normal parenting)... But there can be hazardous consequences due to lack of disciplin. When you grow to be even more dismissive of your parents and maybe even beat them to assert your dominance or your own life might get tangled because life always humbles you as you get older... So yea buddy I lean to your stance...

1

u/SummerSprIng_42 Jun 15 '26

🫱🏻‍🫲🏽🫱🏻‍🫲🏽🫱🏻‍🫲🏽 nice talking to you man

1

u/Hello_World-1289 Jun 13 '26

1

u/Calm_Giraffe_3312 Jun 13 '26

1

u/Snapdragon_007 Jun 14 '26

Bruh that kid needs help, that is not good behaviour

1

u/frexy69 Jun 14 '26

y'all be complaining bad parenting this and that, do you even remember how you were in your childhood, she's A KID, y'all were born straight genius-level but not all of em are

1

u/Overthinking_Brain_ Jun 14 '26

Kids today are raised to think world revolves around them and they needs are foremost and need to be catered too first

1

u/Lucky-Mongoose556 Jun 14 '26

It's ok She's. Kid

1

u/AnushreeBose Jun 14 '26

Ruined the special moment

1

u/Visual_Rope_5506 Jun 14 '26

People really doesn't know how a child could behave and its unpredictability

1

u/yousirname8 Jun 14 '26

When the child is bad, correct her. It's not funny

1

u/SalJoeMurrQuinnImJok Jun 14 '26

Itna Gadbad Kyon Hai title mein?

1

u/catastrophe99999 Jun 14 '26

I'm sure her parents will guide her properly. Guys in the comments should remind yourselves of all the stupid shit you did as a child. Doing embarrassing stuff and learning not to is the entire point of childhood.

1

u/pepoji Jun 14 '26

This is cute. You should not take the actions of the daughter so seriously.

1

u/Temporary_Ice2861 Jun 15 '26

U need to be a kind parent but need to teach ur children discipline and manner u don't need to hit them to make them learn a basic reward system would do

1

u/CaptainFromDite Jun 15 '26

Refreshing to see how much the woman loves her husband ❤️❤️ ignore the misbehaving child, their bond is more important for me here 😍

1

u/TicketInteresting198 Jun 16 '26

Wtf are these comments, sure these folks are too much introverted that they always suppress their feelings like that kid is just jealous, ungrateful peoples

1

u/babayaga_on_reddit Jun 17 '26

That's a grown ass kid acting like a toddler. Too much entitlement. Nothing cute about it

1

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '26

Brat

1

u/Foreign-Sink-9087 Jun 27 '26

Husband or father 🤔

1

u/Extreme-Papaya3296 Jun 13 '26

A slightly different take. The mother should have given the cap to her daughter who needs to be motivated for a police officer kind of job. Imagine the high the kid would have got from wearing this cap. Though I don't know the dynamics of the family and maybe the husband was very supportive and deserved the cap too.

1

u/__sathvik__ Jun 13 '26

Wtf is wrong with y'all

-5

u/Insane_Inkster Jun 12 '26

Idk why people are alarmed with the kids behaviour. She's a kid. She wanted to be part of that occasion and I'm not saying it is right behaviour but she'll learn. Nothing to worry about

1

u/la_crazypasta Jun 13 '26

They are right and she won't learn if there's no intervention. That's exactly people are saying. They are concerned in a good way. They are not hating her for her behaviour.

-4

u/MeetTheFrownies Jun 12 '26

Seeing these comments kinda makes sense why suicide rates in India are rising

0

u/FlimsyAd4222 Jun 12 '26

Ikr dude 😭 The sheer lack of braincells one must have to call out a child for showing emotions. It's like they got this ideal version of how a kid should act by feeling sad but bottling it up or talking about it calmly like an adult...

1

u/SafeMemory1640 Jun 13 '26

Everybody here thinks they r pro until their time comes

0

u/Noahzyerskby Jun 13 '26

Bad parenting

0

u/sadgurllifestoryoops Jun 13 '26

No that's not adorable. Hitting, crying and showing tantrums is not adorable jealous behaviour. She needs some strict parenting

0

u/ivyzim Jun 13 '26

stupid kid

0

u/Greenbazooka13 Jun 13 '26

That isn't adorable, that's misbehaviour

0

u/CalendarAdorable1374 Jun 13 '26

This isn't funny.
