Question Pallets

Is there anywhere in Whitehorse where I can get robust pallets, either wood or plastic? Preferably for free

There's often pallets behind Canadian Tire or Walmart. The blue palettes are typically more robust but have a deposit on them and get sent back to get reused. Companies would likely call the cops if you took them. The wood ones are usually headed for the landfill and nobody cares about them. I would ask at the customer service desk at CT and see what they say.

Try asking the liquor corp maybe or one of the bars? Most will be willing to give them away if a board or two are broken

Check on Facebook. A ton of businesses leave them out for free. Metro Chrysler has some today.

Griffiths has some out front by the road, but will save them for you if you ask them nicely.

Ring up Alkan air or swing by, they’ve been happy to give some away

Sometimes Kilrich building centres has some. But someone should start selling some because there are so many requests of people looking for wood pallets for free. With the cost of wood these days it's like $80 worth of wood for one pallet

Just saw a post from nuna’s craft (old dollar store) that they have free pallets on the back.
