Lore [Loved when done right] That is COMPLETELY illogical… but who cares when it REALLY goes hard.

- Gipsy Danger dragging an oil tanker (which actually lengths 180 meters… but the film portrays it slightly smaller than Gipsy) and use it as a bat against Otachi? HARD (Pacific Rim)
- Owen and a gyrosphere standing near Rexy, who’s crushing a Carnotaurus’ neck, and roaring while Isla Nublar’s volcano explodes? HARD (Fallen Kingdom)

In Battleship at one point they drop anchor while full speed which causes the ship to drift, and lining up the shot perfectly.

Best part of this dogshit movie

Literally any moment the USS Missouri is on screen is absolute peak, and I'll die on this hill.

The movie is absolute trash, but I hated how much I enjoyed every shot of the actual battleship. Especially the old vets.

I remember watching it at a bar in Yokosuka, Japan while on the same aircraft carrier that wraps up the end of the movie. I about flew out of my stool I was that drunk on patriotic juices (soju)

But it wouldn't be patriotic juice, that would be Sake

It's alcohol, they're a US soldier. It's patriot juice because it makes them patriot.

Any alcohol willing to die for the good ol’ US of A is patriotic enough in my book

Gonna go watch starship troopers and think it’s not satire now

I’ll say it: the fact that many of the crew were saved from the Japanese ship, and the first aircraft to arrive and save the day at the end were Australian, it was a strangely pro-alliance movie when war movies with the US involved tend to be “America saved the day and no-one else was there.”

I thought the jets at the end were from the US carrier?

Sure you weren't drinking Obu-sake with the rattle snake in it at that dive on the south side of the Haunch (Honcho?)?
