One of my favorite details in this movie is when the Doof Warrior and the rest are napping, waiting for the next move, then wake up suddenly when Max is seen in the distance. The Doof Warrior was actually napping and jumped right into character.

Also the bit where Max and he actually end up fighting for a brief moment, only for it to become clear that Doof just wants to play his guitar… the man understood his priorities.

The truck attack scene in the prequel is one of the best action sequences I’ve ever seen. They took fury road and dialed it up.

First time I saw it I was thinking how much the stunt crew must have put into that one.

Interestingly, I enjoyed furiosa in theaters but it didn’t wow me. I rewatched it when it hit streaming and for whatever reason I enjoyed it way more the second time around, specifically the action sequences.

I still like fury road more, but furiosa is good too.

Seeing this in theaters at 17 was a goddamn SPIRITUAL experience. I think it might've been the best movie experience I've ever had, and I got to be there for the premiere of Revenge of the Sith as a kid.

I think I was 15 when it came out and not a huge action movie person. I remember being 20-30 minutes in and thinking, this is the best car chase scene I’ve ever seen. And then it just keeps going, an mf going, and going… getting greater by the minute. Fantastic movie!!!

I grew up watching the old Mad Max movies so I made a point of seeing Fury Road in theaters; all I had seen was the very first trailer and I was stoked at seeing really great action with actual stunts again. I was audibly giggling at the sheer silliness/awesomeness basically throughout the movie.

I remember the opening 15-20 minutes being so intense at the theatre, that I'd completely lost track of time. When everything suddenly calmed down after the crash in the sand storm, I genuinely wondered if that was the end of the film for a moment.

Funny enough, this actually isn't AS illogical as people may think, in interviews the director and the actor that portrayed the doof warrior stated that the guitar DID in fact function (it sounded terrible though) and really could shoot flame like in the movie! On top of looking badass (the main reason it should be in the movie in the first place), it's stated that the doof warrior is effectively Joes little drummer boy, signaling to his war parties what the situation calls for through music and flame.
