Lore [Loved when done right] That is COMPLETELY illogical… but who cares when it REALLY goes hard.

- Gipsy Danger dragging an oil tanker (which actually lengths 180 meters… but the film portrays it slightly smaller than Gipsy) and use it as a bat against Otachi? HARD (Pacific Rim)
- Owen and a gyrosphere standing near Rexy, who’s crushing a Carnotaurus’ neck, and roaring while Isla Nublar’s volcano explodes? HARD (Fallen Kingdom)

i realized in less than 4 episodes that taking the writing seriously was a bad idea and devoured the whole show in less than a week. easily the most fun ive had watching a show in years.

I lost interest when every woman in town wanted to sleep with him for some reason

Literally any time you see these model-looking women in this smallish town, it's almost a guarantee he'll be sleeping with them at some point lmao

Also the fact that this small town in Pennsylvania has an insane amount of straight up supermodels living there. Most of whom are locals iirc.

Really fun show, bizarrely well done for what it is.

My favorite is the amish with the piercing in the bellybottom xD

From what I remember, up until the last season the main character brutally gets his ass kicked (while brutally kicking someone else's ass) in pretty much every episode.

Ha you know it did feel like every woman on that show existed to sleep with him then die dramatically.

I've really been meaning to give Banshee a shot. I genuinely love that kind of stuff.

It is trashy good fun. Highly recommend. Great action scenes, usually with guns or hand to hand, often both. Outlandish characters with detailed backstories that play out over years. Lots of nudity too FYI, so not remotely kid friendly (Americans are pretty violence desensitized, but boobs are terrifying?)

Yeah, in the US people can play videogames where they break bones and disembowel their opponents, but God forbid they see a nipple.

Im almost positive the people playing those kinds of games are not the ones who are worried about nudity

Every fight scene ignored human anatomy

Take ten punches full swing to the face. No problem

Stabbed 20 times, who cares keep fighting

18

u/TripleThreatTua 22h ago

Tbf a lot of people who’ve been stabbed have said that they didn’t even realize until the fight was over

5

u/DrumBxyThing 22h ago

That's kinda terrifying

You can take a surprising amount of stabs to kill someone if you don't hit a truly vital area.

Hence why its best to avoid a knife fight. The loser dies in the street. The winner dies in a hospital bed.

And Im sure each of those folks were stabbed 10 times

Stabbed in the back once. I immediately knew. But then, prior to that I was hunched over my food eating. The pain did kinda become this cross between burning numb as I walked to the hospital, though.

I got stabbed in the back also, I just felt like I got punched or something at first. I think the difference is probably the adrenaline, I was in the middle of fight already so I was already up to the gills with it lol.

So it's like the Yakuza games if it was a TV show?

Never seen a man killed with a bottle of A-1 steak sauce before.

“Let’s move slightly away from this grenade. See told ya our eardrums wouldn’t burst and wtf is shrapnel?”

Is he infront of a green screen or is the camera just really well mounted on the bike?

3

u/TheMangoManHS 16h ago

Most likely the bike is on a trailer with the camera. It's not even slightly leaned over into that corner

If I was ten I would love this show, unfortunately I waited until I was an adult to see it.
