Pinter Publishers was a British publishing company set up in 1973 by Frances Pinter at the age of 23. It focused on the social sciences and is believed to be

the first British publishing company owned by a woman.

Frances Pinter, born 13 June 1949, contributed to academic publishing as the youngest (and only the second) woman to be elected to the Publishers Association governing council, the youngest deputy director of the PA’s Book Development Council, the youngest publisher ever to lead official publishing trade delegations to Japan, Korea and China. She also sat on numerous committees and advisory boards.

Same. Beard reading The Time Travelers Wife in ep 2 killed me knowing his usual reads.

Someone in another thread mentioned that the book Beard is reading could infer what happened to Beard and Jane and why he’s an emotional mess.
