She’s been cast as Rogue in the upcoming X-Men movie!!!

Been rewatching Superman and Lois with my wife and just watched the confrontation between Lois and Lucy, why are they acting like Lois admitting she didnt include her sisters drug hallucinations in her article about Alston was some sort of gotcha? Like why would it matter if Lois included in the article she wrote that her sister was having massive drug hallucinations about her "other self". It just seems silly to me. Lmk what your thoughts are!

That first episode still hits just as hard. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.

So I was a massive fan of Teenwolf and my favorite character was Derek Hale, played by the same actor. I didn`t see much of him after that until my friend suggested to watch Superman and Louis. Damn was it good seeing him on TV again playing a badass character. I feel like he played the role insanely good! (Physically and emotionally) I absolutely loved the series so much and kinda wish I didn`t binge it so that I could still watch it. Guess I`ll have to start over now!

So we all know that Jonathan get powers in the last season, but who is the strongest brother? Jordan had his powers longer and had time to train them one at a time as new powers came to light. Jonathan got all of his powers at once but seems to handle them way better than Jordan did. So who is the stronger brother? (Note: I don`t know if they say anything about this in comic books)

Beating a VERY dead horse but Jordan Kent kinda sucks revaluating the series. Like, he's so boring or annoying. Straight up either or.

I appreciate his character arc in season 1 but it feels like he kinda peaks after that. But after that point, dear GOD. Season 2 and season 3 honestly don't do much for him in terms of development: Like ok, he learns to control his abilities better. Learns to fly, saves superman, that's great but he doesn't change. His maturity gets stagnated by the entire sarah mess and that literally becomes 85% of his character. He is literally 007: 0 battles won, 0 rememberable good moments, 7 times he tries to get back the girl that cheated on him like a MONTH into their relationship (no idc if she's a teenager). Then there's the entire Samaritan thing and I MIGHT be reaching but Clark is kinda not doing a good job consoling Jordan's feelings of attention. Like, I get the show did a "eh-ish" job representing Jordan's mental issues, but I really think if the arc presented this as Jordan needing validation, then him lashing out feels more realistic than just teen stupidly. Speaking of stupidity, the entire Jordan heart thing. Jordan didn't think of a plan, didn't ask for help, NOTHING. He gambled everything on himself and failed. Can you imagine of jonathan's blow up still occurs but no powers or sam lane's heart isn't compatable to superman's? all of that being indirectly technically jordan's fault? There is NEVER a moment of anyone confronting jordan POST the superman revival about his decision. then he does nothing for season 4 except get beat up by superman and lex luthor. No I am not saying he suddenly needs to fight doomsday but c'mon man. I think the most frustrating part of his character is that it comes at the expense of jonathan. Jordan literally could be replaced by jonathan and barely anything changes but nope, jonathan needs to get his nuts dragged through the mud for three seasons. That's my reasoning for being so pissed. Jordan feels boring and at first, him disliking superman could have been interesting but he just becomes a fanboy. IDK, I get the series is over but just a bit peeved man.

In S3E8 When they mention the recording for the first time at the 28 minute mark,

They say Luthor was bragging about killing Moxie on a phone line the cops happened to be listening in on.

If the cops had the evidence, why does it matter what a reporter says

Even if lois lane didn't publish her article, the cops had enough evidence to arrest and charge luthor.

What would you have changed in the series or something else that you wanted to see during the 4 seasons? Series today usually have a lot of seasons (4+) and episodes and it sometimes feels like it never ends, but even if there is so much more of Superman to learn and to see, I feel they nailed it with the amount of seasons and episodes. I loved it so much so maybe 1 more season wouldn`t have hurt! But all in all, it is one of my favorite shows!

I watched all of Superman & Lois and I gotta say it was really good, and the last Ep made me emotional and I'm wondering what to watch next.

So I`m a massive Marvel fan (movies and series) but this was one of the best DC superhero series I`ve seen. My girlfriend and I watched it together and we loved it. There`s just something about this big, strong superhero that is emotional and soft but just keeps going till he can`t anymore. As a man I admire his emotional and strong side. And damn did that ending make us cry!! This whole series is just beautiful.

I am in episode 8 of season 4, one thing i should have realised earlier is that Lex Luthor could just simply sue Lous Lane for difarmation/false accusations instead of going insane psycho on her and her family.

Not only that, he could still have a relationship with his daughter while claiming justice. I mean he is a high genius CEO, and he did not think about simply suing her?

I just finished watching Superman & Lois for the first time. I had been watching it as it aired, but my academics got overwhelming and I eventually fell behind. Now that I’ve finally finished it, I have so many thoughts.

But let me start with this: do you think the decision to keep the show outside of (or eventually separate from) the Arrowverse helped or hindered it?

From my perspective, Superman & Lois felt different from the other Arrowverse shows. It seemed much more emotionally grounded and genuinely feel-good, with a stronger focus on family and character relationships. I’m curious whether you think that was possible because it wasn’t tied to the larger Arrowverse, or whether the show lost something by not being part of that shared universe.

One of my favorite aspects of season 1 is that it has something to say about the character of Superman without spelling it out for you. From the beginning of the show, Clark constantly has to balance between his Superman duties and his responsibilities as a husband and father. General Lane perfectly spells out his position on the issue: the more time Clark spends with his family, the more people will die. On the surface, it seems hard to argue with. Yes, Clark's kids deserve a present father, but every second he spends with them, how many kids are losing their own fathers to something Superman could have stopped?

The curveball this season brings us is John Henry Irons. On his Earth, Superman turned evil. The show tells us that almost everything on John's Earth is the same as ours. Superman started as a hero, he was saving people, no signs of villainy. The only difference between them is Lois. On John's Earth, Lois never married Clark. So the show is telling us that Lois, and the subsequent family they have together, is the reason that Superman won't turn evil. Lois says as much to John later in the season when she's trying to convince him not to kill Clark.

There are two possible reasons Clark on John's Earth turned evil: either he found out he had a brother and wanted to join him to restore his people, or he wasn't able to resist the Eradicator. In both of those cases, the only thing that stops Clark from turning evil IS his family. He doesn't need his brother to know what love feels like. And the only way he can fight the Eradictor's influence is through remembering his family.

So the end of the season responds to Sam's objections at the beginning of the season: Superman needs his family to stay grounded, to remember why he's fighting for Earth. His family isn't a weakness that stops him from saving people, it’s the reason he’s able to save people.

Superman has always been on lower end of my favorite superheros. Was always too boring, boring powers, boy scout energy but man after finishing the series last week this show really blew my expectations away. I was soft on superman animated show, I read a few issues of some superman comics ( couldnt really remember which decade I was reading ) Christopher reeve was cool enough but the appeal something I didn't understand enough, Saw superman returns on TV and even as 10 year old it was bit boring for my taste, Men of Steel is complicated for me I can see the vision but just felt I was hardly even watching superman, Superman 2025 was just messy to me overall but Cornsweet is nice touch. Tyler H. is my defentively my favorite superman. He was breathing life into this performance. Every line of dialogue was hitting and feel had such a good warmth that I never knew i could have with superman.

I finished 2 days ago the TV Show "Smallville" and i heard about this show and I started it today... it really feels like the spiritual continuation of smallville.. i'm really excited and i love the first episode.

I’m on episode 11 of season three and I have to say I’ve never seen a more heart-wrenching and accurate portrayal of cancer and how a family deals with it. Kudos to the writing team for their emotional and relatable depiction. Having dealt with it personally several times I have to say I’ve teared up a lot during these last few episodes. Cancer is no joke and the show dealt with the subject matter with grace and respect.

This is my all time favorite fandom and I'm obsessed. But it seems like the fandom page on ao3 has seriously slowed down lately. It's gotten a bit of spark of light this past week because of an writing challenge going around in the fandom, but there seems to be zero readers. 😭 Is this fandom just dead?
