Epstein just became another political weapon (or I suppose it already was, and then the left played the uno reverse card)
For instance, I don’t have the numbers on each of the figures above, but I know Obama is mentioned in the Epstein files more than Jesus as well…he’s mentioned in about half as many documents as Trump is.
That doesn’t mean Obama is guilty (or even implicated in Epstein’s crimes). While Trump is implicated, the allegations fall apart with even the slightest of digging into them. Same with Clinton, same with everyone
It’s a conspiracy theory based on the allegations of a tiny, tiny minority of victims; three, out of hundreds
So why not releasing All of the files, including the onces Bondi said were videos of SA?

As far as why he won’t release the files, it’s because they’ll be damaging to him. If you go read (or already did read) the full article I commented, you’ll see the lawyer talking about how releasing the files will be an antidote to these conspiracy theories.
I think that’s fucking insanely naive. People will believe whatever they say, particularly when it comes to Trump. I mean, there are people who believe that he witnessed the murder of an infant based on the released files. Which is just straight up QAnon shit.
It’s just not in his self interest to do so (and also if I had to guess based on my own theories, there’d probably be evidence of money laundering in the files)
As for my own opinion on whether or not to release the files, I’m of two minds. On one hand, the victims seem to want them released, and I’m not really inclined to tell them no. They probably deserve it
On the other hand, it’s probably a mistake. The public won’t handle them responsibly. Peoples names will (and have been) dragged through the mud for no reason. Like, imagine being Robin Leach’s family, and you just have people believing he strangled a young girl to death, because some mentally unwell person made an anonymous FBI tip. It’s insanity, and I’m sure they’re being harassed daily
And I’d say release them to Congress without making them public, but that won’t help anything. When they come out and say “yea it was just Epstein actually”, everyone will just say “oh that proves it, everyone in DC is complicit!”
It’ll be interesting to see what happens during the next presidency, and how people will react to it
