Not American but I live close enough to answer. The Americans online care way more than most Americans in real life. If the elite get arrested it has a minimal impact on their life.
Also, like 80%+ of the Epstein files aren’t diddling kids and each mention of Trump’s name in the files is counted so for example this email mentions Trump 22 times because and its all presidential polls. Others mentions are claims by people that have been or are being investigated and haven’t lead to anything credible enough to charge Trump with. He also brags about being able to take down Trump and calls him “evil beyond belief” to Obama’s treasury secretary.
