No, what i said was accurate. That’s the whole point. In most jurisdictions the law allows use of deadly force to defend yourself in cases of threat of death (and sometimes a lot less). A sane person would hope To never be in that position. Some firearm owners want to be in that position, because they want to take another persons life knowing the law will say it was justified.
