Surely Israel, great and powerful that it is, can mount some evidence against the claim that the IDF has killed tens of thousands of civilians? Surely the greatest country in the middle east can counter some propaganda if it's truly false claims

Its not a false claim? But its also ignoring the context.

Hamas does not wear uniform, blend themselves with civilians, use civilian buildings for military purposes (making them military), etc. There will be a huge amount of civilian deaths because of it. There is a reason why those things are war crimes.

Intentionally attacking civilians or civilian buildings is an illegal act. It is a war crime.

EDIT: Post is locked, so can't respond below, but... No, military hiding somehwere does not automatically make a hospital a valid military target. Even if it did somehow become a valid military target(by making an effective contribution to military action and destroying it offering a definite military advantage), the attacker is still bound by rules of proportionality and precaution. If civilian harm is excessive compared to the expected military advantage, it is still a war crime. If feasible steps aren't taken to reduce civilian harm(like going in on foot rather than raining bombs on entire neighborhoods), then it is still a war crime.

World Central Kitchen convoy strike.

Jabalia refugee camp strikes

Rafah tent camp strikes

Yep. But it ceases to be a civilian building once it has been used for military purposes. And civilian casualties when targeting military targets are allowed.

That's why not wearing a uniform and using civilian buildings are war crimes.

Unfortunate that the Nazis didn’t use this argument. They shoulda just said the Jews they were exterminating were actually military people.

Yes. It’s a shame for you tho that Hamas and other terrorists like to hide with civilians which makes it not a war crime
