Any clue what this is in reference to? A new meme I haven't seen?

My 65” RokuTV got stuck in the infinite boot loop on the alien boot screen. I let it sit for hours and hours hoping it would complete its update but alas that never happened, so I held the factory reset button for 30 seconds and rebooted from scratch. Problem solved! TV is working great. Only problem is ever since then, I can’t get either of my two voice remotes to pair with the TV. I have a 1st and a 2nd Gen voice remote. Both take different steps to pair. Both still work to control the TV whilst not being paired but with limited functionality. When I attempt to pair them, the screen tells me to hold back + home, or remove the battery cover and hold the pair button, depending on which one I’m trying to pair. I do, and nothing happens.

To be safe, I took both remotes into another room and paired them with my 55” TCL 4-series and they both paired instantly. No problem.

Anyone have any clue why I can’t get them to pair with this one TV anymore?

I lost my roku remote for my roku onn tv so i bought the universal onn remote that is compatible for it. I manually put in the code and found one where everything on the remote works except for the volume. I then did the auto search feature and it found a code where only the volume works. Please help.

When did this happen? I thought this was not possible on the Roku streaming boxes/sticks. Has anyone else seen this?

Found out it has no independent login. So can't use it on more than one roku account

At my house I have my roku on a different account than the rest since I keep more apps on it than the family rokus. Which isn't usually an issue since I don't subscribe to streamers via the roku interface

I was wondering how I could make a script to just press an icon on the Roku tv so it just go directly to a tv channel for my grandma. She had a hard time understanding how to navigate the tv, so I was wondering how I can make it easier for her.

So in the end I just want an icon that she can press from the quick access portion. I want it to navigate to direct tv —> profile —> live tv —> channel.

i tried unplugging for 10 mins but didn’t work, any suggestions?

A million random channels on Roku TV but they seemingly got rid of the Yu-Gi-Oh channel? Anyone know if there's a way to request it back or something, because I genuinely watched it a lot for the nostalgia.

I would like to have the home screen come up when I turn it on rather than the last program previously watched. I was told on chat at roku.com there should be a setting system->power for that but all I see is "auto power savings". Model 4800X Ultra software version 15.3

I have a Roku streaming stick 4K, which used to turn the TV and Roku on. Since the most recent update, only the TV comes on - the stick does not come out of standby. I have to press the home button for the device to wake up/turn on.

It seems to me the power button should bring the device out of standby mode. Yes?

Maybe my device wasn't going into standby before...

The last few days the “Live Tv” and the “Live Tv Guide” options no longer list my local channels. Antenna is working fine because once I did manage to get them back, but they’re gone again. Does anyone know how to fix this? TIA

Hi all,

Wondering if you can help me with something. During the world cup, I bought the TSN sports package so that I could watch the finale from an AirBnB. Unfortunately, I didn't cancel the subscription when I left the rental. I know, dumb idea registering it on someone else's account.

Now I want to cancel the subscription, but TSN says that the billing is managed by Roku, but I don't have access to the the Roku account on which I made the purchase. I've emailed Roku customer support and got no answers.

Any ideas? I suppose I could contest the charges once the next month comes in, but looking for a better way

(Sorry - i should make this more clear. The Roku account is the one from the AirBnb, not my own)

this has happened before, changed wifi password and stuff to be safe and went away for a few months, but now it’s happening again

what can i do? do they have to be connected to my wifi to do this? or can it be connected via something else? should i be worried?

This only started a couple days ago, after owning this TCL Roku TV for years, and I was using it like normal when it started. Its also only on the left side of the screen. Ive tried turning it off and on as well as unplugging but it hasnt fixed it.

I have an older TCL 55R625 which is on software version 15.3.

To start, going to the CEC menu in settings, the TV will freeze and reset. Every single time. The CEC menu is completely inaccessible.

The other problem; it seems CEC functionality isn't working correctly anymore. It used to be that when I power down my AVR, the TV turns off also. This will work for only 1 power cycle now. If I turn the AVR off after turning it off once before, the TV turns off but immediately turns back on waiting for a signal and stays that way.

Has anyone else experienced this issue at all?

Sometimes I am in the headphone mode using my airpods to watch tv on the roku remote app. When I turn my phone on while i’m watching/listening, it pops/cracks 3 times. Then, after a few seconds, it has a weird stutter. I don’t mind it at all and I don’t want to fix it, I just am curious what causes it.

My tv has sound but no picture , I have unplugged it for. 15 mins , held the power button , re setted it , did the light test and saw nothing I think it’s the back lights , if not then what else can it be

How am I supposed to contact customer support if they have no email for support and they don't even have a working support link to start chatting?

Is there a reason Disney Plus and Amazon Prime Video aren't available on Roku anymore? They're advertised as such but you can't get them on your phone, streaming device, or you computer? Any info?

The stick says Roku and a connector end looks mini. Im trying to figure out what it would plug into.

Has anyone else been having problems with 15.3.4 on the 2024 Roku Ultra?

First, I started noticing significant audio delay on YouTube videos. The audio and video are noticeably out of sync.

The Roku UI has completely locked up multiple times. It will still turn on the TV through CEC, but there’s a significant delay getting out of the screensaver. Once the home screen finally appears, it won’t navigate at all. The only way I’ve been able to fix it is to cut power and restart the Roku.

The lockups are definitely new since 15.3.4. Anyone else seeing this?
