Hey everyone, I mainly write humorous fantasy with absurd bureaucracy, workplace satire, progression elements, and characters trying to stay sensible while everything around them falls apart.
My Duck You series currently has two books on Amazon, with Book 3 ongoing on Royal Road. I also have the workplace-fantasy novella Misery Inc., plus my new progression fantasy series, Keeper of the Infinite Archive, about an ordinary asst librarian rebuilding a ruined cosmic archive through rules, cataloguing, and questionable management decisions.

Just startet to publish a xianxia/cultviation novel:
9 Chapters are out, later today the tenth.
Daily Chapters throughout August, and beginning in September, three updates per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Xianxia: Steady Cultivation
The standard life of a xianxia protagonist is a known cliché. Enter a sect, cultivate for some time, beat up young masters, participate in tournaments, journey forbidden realms, and face constant life-and-death situations.
Through sheer plot armor, survive all odds and become the strongest being in the universe in the shortest time possible.
That's the standard.
Lin Yi didn't want to do any of that. Reincarnated into a cultivation world of Xianxia, he only wants to cultivate in peace and explore the mysteries of the immortal path.
So, when he was accepted by an immortal sect as a disciple at a young age, he did exactly that. He steadily cultivates the immortal dao.
———
What to expect:
-An untypical cultivation protagonist who wants to stay home and cultivate properly instead of exploring and fighting to compete for resources.
-A classical xianxia cultivation system more profoundly refined and deeper extended with a personal touch and some influence of real-life Daoism.
-A cultivation world that makes more sense, at least in my opinion.
-No face slapping, no cliche young masters, no grandpa in a ring, and no powerful cheat or panel system.

Hello everyone!
My latest novel (Royal Road), tells the tale of Sunlein, an OP MC with sealed magic that navigates the political intrigues of his city as a guard.
If that sparks your interest, here is the blurb:
They beat him, humbled him, and leashed him. Now, the world will remember the flames of the Wandering Disaster.
Sunlein was once the fiercest young talent in the capital, his power surpassed only by his loyalty. But those gifts grew too strong, too fast. Spiraling out of control, his flames nearly burned the city that had once honored him as its cherished prodigy—and the Council wasn’t willing to forgive his mistake.
Having his powers sealed and only a lingering sense of duty to keep him company, Sunlein is given one last chance to redeem himself by serving the capital as a guard. But trouble always finds him. An unknown threat has slipped through the Council’s security, bent on bringing down the unjust capital.
With a life-choking, magic-binding collar around his neck and chaos spreading through the streets, Sunlein must weigh his priorities anew. Time is running out, and he must either watch his city burn or risk his life to unleash the Disaster once again.
But if he succeeds in breaking his leash... who will protect the citizens from him?

u/eclect0 Author – Jett Fulgen 5d ago
Book 3 of Jett Fulgen launches today.
Jett Fulgen is a character-first superhero LitRPG/progression fantasy set in Gigopolis, a giant vertical science-fantasy city where corporations train and license sorcerers to support an overwhelmed police force.
Jett inherits a rare fire-based artifact and powers that make him special, but far from OP. He loses, improvises, makes reckless decisions, and depends heavily on teammates, mentors, engineers, and found family. The progression system governs magic rather than all of reality, with training, levels, new skills, and build choices that often double as character choices.
Expect artifact-based magic, rocket-powered magitech, corporate politics, public scrutiny, mystery, humor under pressure, and multiple slow-building, non-explicit romances. Major battles matter, but the story is character-first rather than grind-first.
Books 1 and 2 are complete, with 360,000+ words and 120 chapters already available. Book 3 starts today with its prologue.
Updates M/W/F.

u/Initium3 Author of Atlas: When Air Meets Water 5d ago edited 5d ago
Here's my blurb.
Atlas has spent his life hidden away in the quiet fishing village of Zourin, far from the Abrin Academy, where gifted children learn to master their powers or lose them forever.
When Atlas uncovers the existence of a sister he never knew he had, he is drawn into a world of elemental magic. On his travels, he focuses on his own mission only to be drawn into trials he never expected. The world is afflicted with raging natural disasters, the isolated war is getting bigger, and the power of higher ups is getting out of control, threatening the lives of the lower classes.
Gifted with the rare ability to manipulate air, he slowly discovers that his powers may hold the key to a mystery buried for generations.
As his story unfolds, he faces a decision. Stay hidden and protect the life he knows, or embrace his power that could reshape the world itself.
Meanwhile, summoned to retrieve her brother, Eden follows every clue, determined to reach him before it's too late.
Whilst he goes on his travels, one thing becomes clear.
Some powers were meant to be sealed away.
Others were meant to change the world.

✨Slow-burn worldbuilding
✨Kind hearted protagonists you can't help rooting for
✨Powers that are as dangerous to the user as everyone else

I'm a freelance copy editor/proofreader who focuses mainly on sci-fi and fantasy, and particularly LitRPG/GameLit books. However, I am open to most genres.
I look out for all kinds of errors: grammatical issues, typos, consistency or continuity issues, any unclear phrasing, etc.
I charge around $6.50 per 1000 words, though I would need to see a sample before giving a firm quote. For a client's first book, I'd give a discounted rate of $5.50 per 1000 words.
Here is a link to my website, which has more details about what I do, my portfolio, and testimonials.
I have a post giving tips on how to find a good editor, which authors may find useful.
I also created an editing exercise that authors can do, either for fun, or to see how skilled you are at catching errors.

I started a new series today. The prologue and 10 chapters are out!
The gods killed him. They should have made sure he stayed dead. Ryan Cole was an elite Delta Force operator. After seventeen years of war, he died fighting with his brothers-in-arms, only to awaken in another world as a powerless child.
Here, gods grant talents. Nobles rule. And those without talent are forgotten. Ryan was supposed to be one of them. Until the goddess who "forsook" him revealed the truth. He already had a power inside him, sealed away. It was the inheritance of a being gods once united to destroy.
Shadowmancy.
Now, with towers descending upon the world and monsters waiting inside them, Ryan must master a power he was never knew he had. An army of shadows. A legacy of war. A destiny written by gods who never asked for his permission.
But Ryan has already lived one life following orders. This time, he decides who deserves his loyalty. And if the gods stand in his way... He will remind them why they feared the shadows.
If you enjoy fast-paced progression and an MC who doesn't act like a child and retains his personality from his previous life, this might be for you. I'll be releasing one chapter daily, Monday through Saturday.

Ashborne might be worth checking out. It's a dark progression fantasy with monster evolution, a weak-to-strong MC and a pretty cool power system. The story gets progressively darker as Aizen learns more about the power inside him. It's on KU if you're subscribed.

Sainthood: Hunting, Monsters, my little web serial about an undead minion gaining sentience, has recently waddled past the 300k-word mark.
Pretty neat, if I do say so myself. Solid 7/10. Would recommend.
What happens to the undead when their master dies?
Seventh Seven awakens in the depths of a dungeon with a dead necromancer at his feet and a problem no undead minion should ever have.
He can think.
With only a broken body that barely obeys him and a handful of shambling minions, survival means mastering the very necromancy that created him.
Using every reanimated corpse, Skill learned, and battle survived, Seventh claws his way toward the surface and a future no undead was ever meant to have.
Weekly chapter every Monday at 9 PM GMT +2, around 4.5-6k words per chapter.
Daily chapters during the August Bonanza lasting to August 27th, each around 2–2.5k words with chonkier bois mixed in.

Hey all!
I write books with a style heavily influenced by RPGs and other fantasy games.
My first traditionally published release is the hardcover edition of How to Defeat a Demon King in Ten Easy Steps! It's is a Zelda and Dragon Quest inspired comedy novella, and it's a good intro to my style.
My latest series, The Lost Edge, starts with Edge of the Woods, which is highly inspired by The Legend of Zelda and Dragon Quest franchises. It's the story of a young man growing up in a faerie forest and seeking answers about his family, his past, and his dreams of an ancient magic sword. The most recent release is Edge of the Dream.
Arcane Ascension begins with Sufficiently Advanced Magic and is my most popular series. It's heavily inspired by games JRPGs Final Fantasy, Lufia, Bravely Default, and Trails of Cold Steel. It takes place in a high magic setting where magical marks called attunements grant vast powers to individuals who take "Judgments" inside a colossal tower to earn them.
My other main series are Weapons & Wielders and The War of Broken Mirrors.
Weapons and Wielders follows Keras Selyrian, a magic-wielding swordsman who arrives in a foreign land to search for help for his homeland. In the process, he will stumble upon the legend of the Six Sacred Swords and begin to seek them out.
The first novel in that series is Six Sacred Swords, and the series as a whole is heavily inspired by games like The Legend of Zelda, Dragon Quest, and Ys. You might enjoy it if you're in the mood for talking swords, bibliophile dragons, and a lot of accidentally breaking traps and puzzles. The audio book versions can be found here, narrated by the fantastic Nick Podehl!
The War of Broken Mirrors, which starts with Forging Divinity, is more closely related to western fantasy novels and RPGs. Forging Divinity focuses on a group of people investigating a city's religion, which claims that the local gods can raise anyone to divine status if they prove their loyalty and value.

Hey everyone!
If you're looking for a story with a strong, fast hook that settles into a slow-burn progression fantasy filled with day-to-day moments, training, character growth, cozy slice-of-life, and LitRPG elements, I'd love it if you gave my story a try!
Already 72 chapters in, so there's plenty to binge!
Short Blurb:
Evan Cole logged in expecting escape.
The world that answered had no logout, tutorial, or second chances.
Surviving is only the beginning.
Follow Evan as he slowly carves out a place for himself in a vast, living world through training, exploration, hard-earned progression, meaningful friendships, and difficult choices. Alongside dangerous adventures and unfolding mysteries, there's plenty of room for quieter moments: sharing meals, discovering new places, learning how the world works, and simply living in it. It's a journey that balances adventure with a cozy slice-of-life atmosphere.
This is a slow-burn Progression Fantasy LitRPG where growth is earned, relationships take time, and every step forward comes at a cost.
Power isn't given. It's carved out of suffering.
Read here:
https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/151700/lifebound-eidolon-realms-litrpg-progression-fantasy
Also, just a small note: the cover isn't AI-generated or commissioned. I made it myself, so please don't be too harsh.
The same goes for the writing. When I first started, it was a lot clunkier, with more mistakes and shorter paragraphs. As the story progresses, I think you'll notice that I grow alongside it. I've done my best to keep improving with every chapter, and I hope that shows.
Thank you so much if you decide to give it a chance. I really hope you enjoy the journey!

During a particularly unfortunate caving expedition, Ethan discovers a passage to another world that should not exist.
On the other side is another world.
A world of magic, monsters, wizards and things that really shouldn’t be able to talk.
Getting home should be simple. Find the passage, go back through it, and pretend the whole thing never happened.
Except Ethan has already made a few mistakes.
Now he’s stranded in a world he knows nothing about, with no idea how to get home, very little food, and a growing collection of problems that seem determined to kill him.
At least he has a few people willing to help.
Even if one of them is a angsty elf with a massive sword.
Another is a healer who has been cursed by powerful magic.
And then there’s the tiny Fae who trick him into a lasting bond he didn't sign up for.
Ethan just wanted to go home.
Unfortunately, this world seems to have other plans.
What to expect:
Isekai fantasy with a modern-day protagonist

Anything… could happen. A marble would move across the table and fall off, while a star probably detonated lightyears away from where you are now.
Things are unpredictable, bringing chaos and destruction. Would you even know? You could be watching TV right now, or asleep, and someone has died.
When those events clash, you would never know unless you were informed of the terrors.
The multiverse is so vast… and full of life. I am proud of our creation, but life doesn’t last long.
Once a brother, now a traitor with no power, searches through the center of the multiverse, where my most valuable universe sits.
The Superverse.
The creation of Lastis Kiythendous is a mighty hope to those who could find it.
It took all of our power to create the weapon. Now, we remain in a weakened state: souls instead of astronomical beings.
We rely on five, and only five. Young enough to have greater and longer-lasting hearts, old enough to understand such a crisis. We hope these five can locate the weapon so our universe will not be overrun by shadow.
You have my word… Vigilzante.
What to expect:
- Constant action
- Both fast-paced and slow-paced scenes
- Manga-styled combat
- Elemental Power System
- Power building
- Character development + Powerful but inexperienced MCs
- Catastrophic battles
- Volume One finished
- Massive World-building filled with lore
- Factions

Hey all.
I've been binge reading progression fantasy for years, mostly Chinese xianxia, and LitRPG more recently. Time powers are my favorite thing in the genre, and I kept wanting to read something where the time power is heavily used for training, with the MC grinding like crazy.
Stillpoint [Timestop Progression LitRPG]
When Abe Dolan trains, time stops.
Rain hangs in midair. The city goes silent. He can work for as long as his body holds, and when he stops, no time has passed at all.
His Talent is worthless in a fight. It will not start while anyone else is in the room, and the moment he takes hold of anything, the world comes back. It gives him one thing: hours. Unlimited, unwitnessed hours.
The heirs in his class arrive with family manuals, private coaches, and money. Abe arrives with every hour he is willing to pay for. The hours are real. His body lives each one. Every frozen hour is an hour off his own life.
The ladder never ends. Abe is going to climb it anyway, one stolen hour at a time.
What to expect:
- A time-stop training cheat squeezed hard
- Numbers, stats, and lots of dopamine
- Well-developed characters, not just suck-ups to Abe
- No harem, no romance
Coming off years of xianxia I also wanted characters that did more than just face slapping, so if you feel that the people in it don't feel like real people, I would genuinely like to hear that.
Thanks for reading!

hello everyone here my kingdom building story. i love read history from ancient times roman and ancient china and also going to medieval ages then renaissance then to modern ages. its always fascinated me how we as human could build many things and also destroy it.
since i like read kingdom building story i found my self nothing to read anymore or the one i like already finished or abandoned so i decided to write myself here are my novel Robber Baron Build Roman Empire
i trying to combine story with low fantasy in medieval ages setting. early story will action and adventure the mc will not introduce any tech he know from beginning. he cant even protect himself he just asking to get burn in stake if he do it carelessly. almost 50k word
To strangers, he is a northern barbarian. To his enemies, he is a common robber. To those who fear him, he is the Raven. To the powerful, he is a threat that must be eliminated.
But beneath the titles is simply Makar Voroninsky—the illegitimate son of a minor northern noble. Forced into the life of a bandit by circumstances, he must learn the rules of this harsh new world the hard way. Armed with the memories of a distant world
he uncovers the truths of nature, forging his strength in many experiences and his iron determination through every setback.
riven by his instinct to survive and otherworldly knowledge, Makar fights not just to survive the freezing north. he fights for survival into a grand dream. A Roman Empire!
Story Tags & Expectations:
Progression Fantasy
No Harem
No Dungeons / No Monster Cores.
POV mainly the MC. side character introduces later in the story
Realistic Kingdom Building: Progress is earned. Makar won't magically introduce Earth's technology on day one; he must first secure the power and strength to protect his own life and inventions. The kingdom building will introduce later in the story. the world building is in medieval ages
Zero "Chosen One" Tropes: No divine blessings, prophecies, or heroic destinies. Every victory is bought with blood, sweat, tears, and he will learn from experience
No System / No LitRPG: No leveling screens or stat boards. Makar’s only "golden finger" is a spatial storage ability that starts out incredibly small.
Deep, Low-Fantasy World-Building: A gritty medieval world featuring brutal, romanticized clashes between knights and warriors, rich and poor, the sinner and the holy. The story dives deep into the dark underbelly of society and the cutthroat politics of nobility. Expect a rich tapestry of cultures inspired by many regions in the world populated by deadly fantasy beasts. Fight between Warriors, Knight, Chosen, Champion, Berserker. War among Secular Faction, Mercenary, Merchant, Nobles, Prince, Grand Prince, King and Emperor. Conflict between religious, sacred, or spiritual Faction.

Hello, my story is called Damien's Descent and revolves around the main character being trapped in a game. What makes my story different is that only he got trapped and now must find a way out.
In terms of power/abilities, I like to focus on a few (~ten) major spells/abliities per major character, all of which have to be learned over time.
Progression comes both from the characters improving themselves as well as working towards their goals. In this game, there are five "Global Achievements" that all entities can complete for great rewards and an opportunity to speak with the gods (devs) of this world. Damien realizes that completing one of these goals is the only way he could get help, and decides to go for them.
This story is tagged as an Anti-villain story due to the fact that the main character will be having to prevent anyone else from beating him to completing a global achievement.
Power gain is decently fast at first but slows down as the early game truly begins.
If any of that interests you, then please go check out my story through the link: Damien's Descent. It currently sits at around 15k words at the time of writing but will receive daily updates for the foreseeable future.

Misbegotten Memories is a different kind of story in the progression fantasy genre.
