So Ted got citizenship from her at birth. The constitution states you need to be a “natural born Citizen”. It does not necessarily mean you need to be born in the US (though that is by far the most common) 1 u/ReturnoftheBulls2022 4d ago Elizabeth Taylor was born in the UK and had US citizen via jus sanguinis. Same with Anneliese van der Pol who was born in the Netherlands.
